Bleach TYBW Part 3 is reaching its climax with the Soul reapers taking on the Quincies at Wahrwelt. The Schutzstaffel scattered and decided to take on the soul reapers, setting up exciting match ups such as Pernida Parnkgjas vs Mayuri Korutsuchi, Lillie Barro vs Kyoraku Shunsui and Askin Naak le Vaar vs Ichigo Kurosaki. Shunsui’s Bankai in Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 9

Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 9 titled, “Don’t chase a shadow” exclusively explored Shunsui, the Head Commander of the Gotei 13 and his battle against Lillie Barro. The episode unveiled his 4 stage Bankai: Katen Kyokotsu Karamatsu Shinju. It envelopes the space surrounding the user which can be said evoke feelings of despair and loneliness. It is also the reason why Shunsui is very careful to use it, making sure that his allies are not in the range.

Tameraikizu no Wakachiai (The Sharing of Pain) is the first act that ensures that damage is equally incurred by Shunsui and his opponent and despite being so, they won’t be fatal. In the second act, Zanki no Shitone (The Pillow of Shame) infects his opponent with a deadly disease. Dangyo no Fuchi (The Abyss), the third act, submerges both parties into an ocean. The fourth act, Itokiribasami Chizome no Nodobue (Thread Cut Blood-Soaked Throat) is the final stage of the Bankai where Shunsui beheads his opponent with strands of thread.

What to expect from Mayuri vs Pernida: The Final Battle in Bleach TYBW Part 3 Ep 10

Bleach TYBW Part 3 Ep 10 titled, “Baby Hold your Hand 2” is going to revolve around the showdown between 12th Division Captain Mayuri Korutsuchi and the Left Arm of the Soul King, Pernida ‘The Compulsory’ Parnkgjas. Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 8 explored Mayuri figuring out Pernida’s medium of attack (nerves) and how he counteracted his opponent. The Quincy who happens to be the Left hand of the soul king can evolve endlessly and “progress”. This meant that Pernida showed signs of super-fast learning such as picking up the language and forcing Mayuri into a corner where he had to blow up that illuminated suit we all loved.

The episode also explored Mayuri’s modified Bankai: Ashisogi Jizo Matai Fukuin Shotai which spawns a giant purple baby. The Zanpakuto receives data from Mayuri on the attributes of the enemy he is facing and it grotesquely gives birth to a complete antithesis that counters said opponent. The 12th Division Captain was successful in defeating Pernida or so he thought. The newborn Ashisogi Jizo had 70,000 peelable nerve layers, which meant it could shed off a layer as soon as Pernida infected it. This proved effective as the Zanpakuto was able to gobble the left arm of the soul king.

However, as it turns out, things don’t go according to plan. Ashisogi Jizo is seen to be stabbed with multiple long protrusions like rods from the inside which can only mean that the battle is far from over. Furthermore it also means that the Bankai, which is a Soul Reaper’s trump card is rendered ineffective and null when it comes to Mayuri. Bleach TYBW Part 3 Episode 10 is going to expand upon Pernida’s powers like his shrift ‘C- The Compulsory’ as well as the form he takes in his Vollstandig form.
