In Fire Force, Adolla Link is a mysterious and recurring phenomenon that ties characters to an otherworldly realm known as Adolla.. Adolla is a separate world, and the landscape is quite the opposite of that of the human world. Several characters in Fire Force have experienced an Adolla Link, and every time, it is caused by a near-death experience of those individuals.
What Is Adolla, Adolla Link, Adolla Burst, and Adolla Grace?

As shown in Fire Force, Adolla is a different dimension or world from which the Adolla Burst originates. The landscape of Adolla features a grey sky, blackened Earth, Infernals roaming around, and the presence of Black Flames. The Adolla Link is a connection to Adolla, or to an individual who has already experienced an Adolla Link.
While most of it remains shrouded in mystery, it was discovered that apart from connecting to the world of Adolla, people can also connect with the Evangelist or the Woman in Black since they are Adolla beings. Exposure to Adolla entities like the Evangelist, Demon Infernal, or Adolla Burst can be a cause of the Adolla Link. Adolla Link has a way of connecting humans to the world of Adolla through Adolla Grace.
Adolla Grace and Adolla Burst
Adolla Grace is a phenomenon that boosts the Third Generation’s Pyrokinetic abilities, and it is enhanced by Adolla Link. An interesting fact about the Adolla Link is that people who have experienced the Adolla Burst can sustain the Adolla Link longer without any significant damage, but others get overwhelmed. Adolla Burst is a phenomenon where individuals gain access to the Genesis Flame, originating from Adolla. The flame is pure and unsullied, making it be termed as Flames of Destruction.

How Does Adolla Link Connect Humans To The World Of Adolla?
The connection of Adolla Link with humans is an overwhelming experience, mentally and physically. One of the side effects of an Adolla Link is that the individual has to incur permanent physical damage. In most cases, the damage is incurred on the eyes, and this phenomenon is called Stigma. Powered humans gain a massive power jump in their Ignition Boost, while non-powered humans gain physical enhancements that can increase their strength, durability, and speed.
The mysterious ability can also be used to share memories with people who have Adolla Burst. Since everything is related to Adolla, individuals can use it to link to have long conversations with people possessing the Adolla Burst. Since the world of Fire Force is based on Adolla, the Adolla Link can also be used to understand other people’s emotions or share their emotions with other individuals.
During the Great Disaster, Soichiro Hague had an Adolla Link and was scratched by an Infernal, leaving a permanent scar on his face. Leonard Burns and Joker had an Adolla Link at the same time, when they found themselves on Adolla and witnessed the Evangelist. As a Stigma, Burns lost his right eye, while Joker lost his left one. Even Shinra Kusakabe established an Adolla Link and came to know about Dr. Giovanni’s true motives. The White Clads, the Four Pillars – Sho Kusakabe, Haumea, Amaterasu, and Shinra, etc., all have gone through an Adolla Link.
