Garou’s Rise From A Human To A Cosmic Being
Garou’s Childhood

Garou’s hate for heroes began when he was a child. He was made to play the role of a monster, and his friend, Tacchan, used to play the role of a hero. Garou was always beaten by Tacchan and bullied by the other children. As a result, he started despising the heroes and sympathizing with the villains. Later, Garou joined Silver Fang’s dojo and excelled at martial arts. Soon, after completing his martial arts education, he began a journey of hero hunting.
Journey As A Hero Hunter

He defeated multiple heroes, but never killed them. With each fight, he got stronger and challenged high-ranking heroes. He was defeated by his former master, Silver Fang, and his older brother, Bomb. He went on to face multiple S-Rank Heroes, including Metal Bat and Watchdog Man. Being a prodigy, defeat did not stop him. He found ways to progress by copying the techniques he saw. Thus, slowly, his monsterization began.
Monsterization First Stage

It was the fight against King The Ripper and Insect God that featured a significant change in him. His clothes were infused with his wounds, potentially becoming a layer of skin; he became muscular, and his techniques also improved. After slaying multiple monsters, including King The Ripper, his appearance started changing. He faced Overgrown Rover and was later defeated by Lord King Orochi. Garou was imprisoned and became more agitated.

Monsterization Second Stage
Garou was mistakenly rescued by S-Rank Hero, Puri Puri Prisoner. He defeated the latter and began fighting Superalloy Darkshine. Throughout their fight, Garou not only became stronger physically, but also his speed and durability increased. It was the start of his awakening. He has an epiphany and turns into a monster in an unconscious state. He encounters Silver Fang and defeats him after a lengthy battle. Afterward, he kills President Ugly and defeats Platinum Sperm.
Cosmic Garou
Garou started looking more like a monster than a human. It looked as if his body was made of scales, with horns and white eyes. He sliced Sage Centipede in half and then faced Saitama. Unfortunately, he was defeated, which became the final nail in the coffin. At this point, God blesses him, completing his transformation. He became invincible and came to be known as Cosmic Fear Mode Garou. At that point, his body was a large void, with galaxies and stars inside it.
Garou Is Not The First Monster Human In One Punch Man
Garou rising as a monster from a Hero Hunter is pretty intriguing. However, it is not the first time that a human has turned into a monster. Gouketsu, President Ugly, and Homeless Emperor were humans. Due to their distasteful personality, they turned into monsters and gained a massive boost in abilities. While Garou is still progressing, it will be interesting to see whether he becomes the strongest of all.
