All Numbers Weapon in Kaiju No. 8 Ranked from Strongest to Weakest

The Kaiju in Kaiju No. 8 might cause a lot of trouble for humans, but they also have their benefits. After a Kaiju is killed, its body parts are used for multiple purposes. As for the numbered Kaiju, they are converted into Numbers Weapons, used by the Japan Anti-Kaiju Defence Force to subjugate other monsters.

Naoya Matsumoto’s magnum opus has introduced several Numbers Weapons wielded by the most able soldiers. Here is the list of all the Numbers Weapon introduced in Kaiju No. 8, ranking them from strongest to weakest.

1. Numbers Weapon 2

• Kaiju: Kaiju No. 2
• Wielder: Isao Shinomiya

Kaiju No. 2 was one of the fiercest monsters ever. The monster nearly destroyed Sapporo before it was subjugated and turned into Numbers Weapon 2. Apart from Isao Shinomiya, the Director General of the Defence Force, no one has been able to use the weapon.

The weapon was made in the form of an armored suit and gauntlets. Like the monster, the gauntlets use Sonic Attacks to land powerful blows, and the range of the attack is widespread. Apart from the Sonic Attack, it also uses powerful energy attacks. Numbers Weapon 2 also has a shield that protects the user from powerful attacks. The weapon was powerful, but Isao Shinomiya also deserves credit for bringing out the full potential of the armor and gauntlet, making it the strongest Numbers Weapon to date.

2. Numbers Weapon 1

• Kaiju: Kaiju No. 1
• Wielder: Gen Narumi, Kikoru Shinomiya

Kaiju No. 1 had the ability to determine the path of an attack, making it completely useless against him. It also facilitated locating the weak spot of its enemy and attacking accordingly. Its body was covered with pink eyes that granted it such foresight. Seeing its usefulness, it was turned into Numbers Weapon 1 after its subjugation. Gen Narumi, the First Division Commander, wielded the Weapon. Instead of having a weapon or armor, it was attached to his eyes, giving him foresight.

He could easily locate the core of Kaiju and destroy it or see through the path that will land a sure-shot blow. Apart from plain sight, Gen Narumi’s capabilities improved the Numbers Weapon 1, making it able to determine temperature, terrain, and electron movements. Compared to him, Kikoru Shinomiya is still new and has yet to unlock the full potential of Numbers Weapon 1.

3. Numbers Weapon 10

• Kaiju: Kaiju No. 10
• Wielder: Soshiro Hoshina

Soshiro Hoshina, vice-captain of the Third Division, specializes in close combat and uses bladed weapons instead of firearms. On the other hand, Kaiju No. 10 was the first identified Kaiju created by Kaiju No. 9. It had multiple abilities, like immense speed, durability, strength, gigantification, Kaiju control, etc., and was prideful.

After it was defeated, its head was kept alive to turn it into a Numbers Weapon. Soshiro Hoshina took a liking to it due to bearing the same love for close combat. Even though Kaiju No. 10 tried to take control, Hoshino prevented it. Ultimately, both of them agreed to cooperate, and their compatibility increased. The armored suit came with a tail, and it proved to be beneficial since it acted as a fifth limb for the vice-captain.

4. Numbers Weapon 4

• Kaiju: Kaiju No. 4
• Wielder: Hikari Shinomiya, Kikoru Shinomiya

Hikari Shinomiya, the mother of Kikoru Shinomiya and wife of Isao Shinomiya, wielded the Numbers Weapon 4. Like Kaiju No. 4, the weapon came with round repulsors located on the shoulders of the armored suit, which granted the user the gift of flight. Thanks to this ability, the users can travel at great speed, launching multiple blows before the human eye can follow. As a result, Numbers Weapon 4 is regarded as the fastest Numbers Weapon. Both Hikari and Kikoru have found compatibility with the weapon and used it to its full extent.

5. Numbers Weapon 6

• Kaiju: Kaiju No. 6
• Wielder: Reno Ichikawa

Kaiju No. 6 was known as the “King of the Monster” and without a doubt, the strongest Daikaiju of the series. Its powers were related to ice and could bring giant snowstorms on battlefields. It was subjugated after 200 soldiers and Second Division Commander Hikari Shinomiya’s death.

For years, no one could wield Numbers Weapon 6 until Reno Ichikawa was selected for it. He successfully wielded the armor but has yet to reach his full potential. Numbers Weapon 6 could easily top the listicle, but Ichikawa needs time to reach the level of Isao Shinomiya for that to happen. The weapon possesses the same ice-related powers as the Kaiju.
