Sakamoto Days is one of the most anticipated anime of 2025. After the manga became an enormous hit, it was a matter of time before it was adapted into an anime. The plot involves a great number of characters, with most of them being assassins. As far as the Japanese Association of Assassins(JAA) goes, a specific group of assassins hold the most prestigious positions in the organization known as ‘The Order.’ Being a member of the esteemed organization, they all show enhanced durability, strength, and speed. Below are the listed members of The Order, both past and present.

1. Takamura
Takamura is the oldest member of the JAA (Japanese Association of Assassins), and no one exactly knows how old he is or how long he has been working for the organization. He is a swordsman and the strongest member of The Order. Takamura mostly relies on his instincts and attacks anyone who displays hostility towards him. In combat, not a single character has been able to get the upper hand on him except for himself.
2. Shishiba
Shishiba is one of the strongest assassins in JAA and was trained by a former member of the JAA, Satoru Yotsumura. Before Yotsumura took him under his wings, he was a rogue assassin. Shishiba is quite skillful as a fighter and uses a nail hammer as his weapon. He is shown to take on multiple members of Slur’s gang at a single moment. He likes to lead a simple life and does not want to concern the public with the acts of the JAA. Shishiba is quite protective of his protégé, Osaragi.
3. Osaragi
Osaragi is another member of The Order and is currently under Shishiba’s wings. She believes in God and good karma. Osaragi is quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat and uses a collapsible buzzsaw as a weapon. She had no prior connection to the assassin’s world and had a childish nature. However, in all of her battles, she showcased extreme mental fortitude and was able to overcome strong foes with ease.
4. Hyo
Hyo is an assassin who worked hard to climb the ranks. He is a brute force of nature and relies on his strength during battles. He is shown to have a tough nature but is quite thoughtful towards his colleagues. Hyo has spiky hair and a magnetic jawpiece on his chin. He is one of the tallest members in The Order and has a muscular build. The only weapon he is ever shown to possess is the brass knuckles.
5. Kamihate
Kamihate is the only sniper in The Order. He is the best sniper in the entire organization, but his face was never revealed in the manga. He was able to overpower Heisuke with his ricochet shots and improved as the battle went on. However, he had a misconception about Taro Sakamoto, and for that reason, he hated him. Not much is known about the sniper, except that no member has ever seen him, and he tries to maintain an eight-kilometer distance from his targets.
6. Kanaguri
Kanaguri is a former member of The Order. He is a skillful assassin and a world-renowned movie director. He always has a camera in his hand to shoot any action sequences that might benefit him. For the thrill of directing more assassination-centric movies, he joined hands with the antagonist, Slur. For that reason, he was expelled from the organization. More than his missions, he focuses more on his movies.
7. Yoichi Nagumo
Yoichi Nagumo is another former member of The Order who also got expelled for the wrong reasons. The CEO of the JAA, Asaki, used his powers to expel Nagumo and brand him as one of Slur’s gang members. Nagumo is a master of disguise and makes other individuals change their looks for a certain period. He uses a unique stick-like weapon that can be divided into different kinds of weapons. He, Taro Sakamoto, and Rion Akao were batch mates during their training days.
8. Oki
Oki is another member of The Order, who was promoted as the leader of the group after Slur’s attack during the exhibition. Previously, he was on a mission overseas, so not much was known about him. He is skilful but has yet to be featured in a battle. Oki is rigid when it comes to the rules of the JAA. After coming back, he brought two new members to join The Order.
9. Satoru Yotsumura
Satoru Yotsumura is a former lecturer at the JCC (Japan Clear Creation) and the former no.2 of the JAA. He is one of the founding members of The Order and Shishiba’s senpai. He was banished by Sei Asaki and since then has been on a run. He is one of the strongest members in Sakamoto Days and wields a three-section staff as his weapon. Satoru Yotsumura is a tall man wearing a tuxedo and portraying a calm nature. He is the son-in-law of Byodo, the Database, and the father of Amane Yotsumura.
10. Kindaka
Kindaka was a member of The Order during Satoru Yotsumura’s time. He was pretty powerful and was able to overpower Taro Sakamoto, Yoichi Nagumo, Rion Akao, and Kei Uzuki with ease. He is one of the fastest assassins ever. As a recruitment test to join The Order, he took a group of four on an escort mission. Unfortunately, he ended up in a coma after being poisoned during the mission. He was in a coma for almost eight to nine years before he woke up.
11. Torres
Torres is one of the newest recruiters of The Order by Oki after the Assassin Exhibition of the Century. He is an old man with uncombed hair and beard. He has a habit of gambling and owes the JAA more than 60 billion Yen. Torres uses a sandblaster and is strong enough to injure Taro Sakamoto multiple times.
12. Tanabata
Apart from Torres, Tanabata was also recruited by Oki. They were recruited specifically to fill the gap left by Takamura. Tanabata is a teenager and a musician. His primary weapon is his electric guitar and uses its sound and cables to injure his powers. Osaragi was knocked unconscious by him within a few moments.
13. Taro Sakamoto
Taro Sakamoto is a former member of the Order. He was known as the ‘Greatest hitman of all time.’ Every mission he did was a success, and during his time at the JAA, he stole all the spotlight. One of his many qualities is to analyze his surroundings and use different things as weapons. He does not depend on a single specific weapon. However, after falling in love, left The Order. Five years after his retirement, a bounty of billion Yen was put on his head, and after the Assassin Exhibition of the Century, he was branded as a criminal for the same reason as Yoichi Nagumo.
Special Mention
Etsuko Satoda
Etsuko Satoda is a former teacher and a retired assassin of the JCC and one of the most powerful beings in Sakamoto Days. Satoda was offered a position in The Order, but she rejected it. She trained the trio of Sakamoto, Nagumo, and Akao and nominated their name to fight Kindaka. Satoda and Byodo were batch mates at the JCC. She was killed by Kanaguri while protecting his students.
