Dr. Vegapunk, a character in One Piece, inspired by Einstein, is a super-genius scientist who works for the World Government. Vegapunk is the mind behind various awesome discoveries like the usage of Seastones, uncovering secrets of Devil Fruit abilities and Lineage Factor, and the creation of the Pacifista and Seraphim. He is a genius whose mind is at least 500 years ahead of the current technology. Vegapunk is one of the most important characters to begin with, and currently, he is central to the ongoing plot, The Egghead Arc, in the anime.
Dr Vega Punk is the user of the Paramecia type of Devil Fruit, known as Nomi Nomi no Mi (Brain-Brain Fruit), which allows its user’s brain to expand indefinitely with new information, making the user a Brains Human or a human library. As the leading scientist of the World Government, his innovations have changed the landscape of science, warfare, and technology across the seas. Here are some of his greatest scientific breakthroughs.

The Mother Flame
This invention could be considered revolutionary, as the Mother Flame is a kind of alternative source of energy created by Dr. Vegapunk. It was invented with the means to advance modern civilization, and Vegapunk could get eternal and free energy, however, it still remains under production.
Vegapunk created the Flame in a reactor or a power plant on Egghead Island. As the Flame was weaponizable, a small portion of this energy was stolen by the York, one of Vegapunk’s bodies, for Imu to charge the ancient weapons, one of which was used to wipe out the Lulusia Kingdom.
Seraphim
The Seraphim are artificial human weapons, a special type of Pacifistas, more advanced than the artificial Bartholomew Kuma, created by Vegapunk. These special units were developed by the Marines’ Special Science Group to replace the Seven Warlords as one of the Three Great Powers. They are clones of former Warlord members, enhanced with lunarian traits and powered by Green Blood, which replicates Devil Fruit abilities.
Due to their numerous unique traits, they are considered by their inventor, Dr. Vegapunk, to be the pinnacle of scientific achievement conceivable, even referring to them as The Strongest Form of Humanity. These living weapons look like the childhood version of the warlords.
Punk Records
Punk Records is inspired from cloud storage however in One Piece, its actually an area in Labophase of Egghead which accumulated the all the knowledge of Dr Vegapunk and his six satellites.
His Devil Fruit allows his brain to grow so big that he has to keep it outside his head, and it also acts as his personal library or internet, which Vegapunk and his six satellites can remotely connect to, allowing them to share the same brain.
After the events of the Egghead arc, Punk Records flew away and disappreared in the sky. Vegapunk invested in this so that in the future, everyone can use the information.

Lineage Factor
In the One Piece World, every living organism in the anime is born with a Lineage Factor, which is the blueprint of life itself. This phenomenon was discovered by a research team led by Dr. Vegapunk and Vinsmoke Judge. The Factor can be manipulated to change the growth of a life form, and Devil Fruits affect the lineage that grants people powers.
Vegapunk discovered that a Devil Fruit user’s lineage can be studied and recreated so that the same Devil Fruit powers can be used by multiple people. It is a known fact that every Devil Fruit provides a different ability to its consumer. The prime example of these experiments is Kaidu and Momosuke, who can both transform into dragons and control the clouds.
The Navy Ships With Sea Stone
In One Piece, Seastone is an immensely rare and naturally occurring substance best known for nullifying the powers of Devil Fruits. It is believed to be as strong as diamond and is used by various organizations to make various weapons and instruments, such as blades, bullets, cuffs, shackles, or cages.
Vegapunk discovered that Seastone can be used as a coating on Marine Ships to hide their presence from Sea Kings and other sea-dwellers. So, to travel the Calm belt, the bottom of the Marine ships is covered with a layer of Seastone. However, the monster can see these ships, so it’s not a perfect solution.
