Episode 1144 of One Piece marks a turning point in the Egghead Island arc by finally unveiling the true forms of the Five Elders. These elusive world leaders, long shrouded in mystery, were teased back in episode 1119 with ominous silhouettes, leaving fans to speculate on their powers and designs. Now, the curtain has been pulled back, and the result is nothing short of terrifying.
The Five Elders’ transformations into monstrous, myth-inspired beings resemble creatures from Japanese and Chinese folklore, and in one case, possibly even modern science fiction. As the Straw Hats and their allies face off against these apocalyptic foes, understanding the Elders’ forms and abilities could be the key to unraveling their secrets and surviving their wrath.
The article is speculative and contains spoilers.
St. JayGarcia Saturn – Gyuki

Saint Jaygarcia Saturn’s Mythical Zoan-type Devil fruit transforms him into a Gyuki, which literally translates to ox demon, also known as the Ushi-oni. St Saturn can transform into a hybrid, where he develops spider-like legs, while maintaining his upper torso. In his full beast mode, he looks like a huge spider with horns, his skin turns purple, and his backside is covered with fire. His scar becomes more visible, and the shape of his eyes changes to yellow, with red pupils. Saturn’s beard grows in size and becomes similar to a lion’s mane.
St. Saturn seems to have displayed a paralyzing gaze and the ability to use poison with his legs. St. Saturn makes use of his tentacle-like legs to administer toxins. He can also spit out venomous orbs that explode on contact. In his awakened form, he can stretch out his legs at will.
St. Marcus Mars – Itsumade

St. Marcus Mars’ Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit transforms him into an Itsumade, a giant bird with a snake-like tail. He possesses partial and full beast transformations, and the latter transformation looks like a massive pelican bird’s face attached to a snake’s body with wings. In his awakened form, his body consists of multiple colors, starting with purple, red, yellow, dark blue, and light blue. Saint Mars, too, has a mane and a fire on his back. The tongue is colored purple and is quite long.
Not a lot is known about St. Mars’ powers, but it seems like he has a strong body, as he was able to quickly reach Labophase and demolish the Frontier Dome while being shot by anti-aircraft lasers. He can even project venomous globules and an energy blast from his mouth, which was strong enough to take out the giants.
Topman Warcury – Fengxi

Saint Topman Warcury, the warrior god of justice, can transform into a Fengxi, which is named after a Chinese mythological creature similar to a boar. After his full transformation, St. Warcury looks like a wild demonic boar with four huge tusks. The tusks have orange marks on them, and his skin turns into light and dark green, with a fire on his back
St. Warcury seems extremely strong, as he was able to knock down the Iron Giant with huge force, and his movements were agile and dexterous. His tusks are incredibly sharp, like a blade, and he can also roar by infusing his haki with his voice. St. Walcury is also very durable, as Luffy hurt his hand while punching him with an Armament Haki-imbued giant fist while in his Gear Fifth.
Ethan Baron V. Nusjuro – Bakotsu

St. Ethan Baron V. Nusjuro’s Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit power lets him transform into a Bakotsu, which is a skeletal horse.” Oda based this transformation on a Yokai from the Edo period. As the name suggests, in his full transformation, he looks like a Skeleton horse, and in his partial transformation, he seems like a centaur. Even though he is a skeletal horse, there is still pink skin left on his back and face. The mane is orange and red in color.
Not much is known about his powers, but it seems he can generate powerful cold that can freeze his enemies when sliced with his sword. Saint Nusjuro is a master swordsman and has lightning-fast speed. Bakotsu also seems strong and durable, as he was able to knock down a charging giant easily.
Shepherd Ju Peter – Sandworm

St. Shepherd Ju Peter, the Warrior God of Agriculture, is able to transform into a Sandworm. The Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit is taken from East Asian folklore or mythology. Up until now, other elder transformations were mythical animals, but Peter’s transformation looks like a giant, serpentine, burrowing incest, with a red face and pink lips.
Despite how it looks, Sandworm is exceptionally tough, as he was able to take the full force of Sabo’s flames and came out unharmed. Peter’s mouth works like a powerful vacuum cleaner; he can suck up anything and spit it out with huge force. His teeth are incredibly strong and are able to chew through metal. When his mouth is closed, it is in the shape of a cross, and when opened, it shows both teeth and gums.
Figarland Garling Joins the Five Elders
Following the events of the Egghead arc, St. Saturn was replaced by Saint Figarland Garling. The information about his abilities and Devil Fruit is not yet revealed.
