Sakamoto Days has introduced several top-level assassins, who are single-handedly capable of wiping out an entire city, whether it’s filled with commoners or seasoned fighters. More such elite assassins are set to be introduced during the JCC Transfer Exam arc, which is currently ongoing. One such assassin introduced is Rion Akao, the former classmate of Taro Sakamoto and Yoichi Nagumo.
Rion Akao was as skilled as the other two and is the aunt of Akira Akao, one of the participants of the JCC Transfer Exam. Everything Akira knows was taught to her by her aunt. If Akira Akao appears to be strong, Rion Akao was ten steps ahead of her in every aspect.
Rion Akao’s Looks and Personality Carry the Swagger of an Assassin
Rion Akao was a former student of Japan Clear Creation and friends with Taro Sakamoto and Yoichi Nagumo. She is a tall and slender woman with blue shoulder-length hair (turquoise in the manga). Rion is an attractive woman with an Orion constellation tattoo on her right arm, and her attire mainly consists of black trousers and shoes, with a tank top. Complimenting her fashion ideology was her carefree personality.
The assassin did not care about consequences as long as she was having fun. She had a friendly and warm nature, deeply cared about her closed ones, and was willing to die to protect them. One of her characteristic traits was engaging in one-sided, rapid-fire conversations without any heads-up. She formed a trio with his two friends at JCC, and would often cause destruction in the name of having fun.

Rion Akao Could Easily Overshadow The Top Assassins
Rion Akao stands among the most talented assassins in Sakamoto Days and is regarded as one of JCC’s top three prodigies alongside Taro Sakamoto and Yoichi Nagumo. She was most efficient in confrontations, her mastery over weapons, and zero-waste movements, which even earned her praise from Kindaka, a former member of the Order.
Rion was a master marksman and rarely missed any target, and along with that, her endurance, reflexes, and speed could make any other top assassin look like an amateur. Her signature skill was the ability to see paths, imaginary lines that revealed possible future moves she could take to eliminate a target. She taught this skill to her nephew, Akira Akao, even though she is not as seasoned as she is.
