Netflix Anime dropped a new teaser trailer on its official X account (formerly, Twitter) for its highly anticipated upcoming sci-fi Terminator Zero anime series. The anime is based upon and is highly inspired by the plot of the famous Hollywood franchise – ‘Terminator’. This 8-episode series is set to premiere on 29th August this year and will be available to stream on Netflix.

Terminator Zero Anime Story






The story explores the themes from Terminator Universe, where, Skynet (A.I) becomes self-aware in 1997 and wages war against mankind. Eiko, a soldier from the future (2022) is sent back in time to protect the scientist Malcolm Lee, who is working on a new A.I. system designed to protect the world from Skynet’s attack. However, a terminator is also sent back from the future to hunt down Malcolm and change the fate of his 3 children forever.
