Gachiakuta is still in its introductory phase, with anime slowly introducing the characters. First, it was Rudo Surebrec and how he came to the Ground; then it was Enjin, Vital Instruments, Trash Beasts, and so on. In the latest episode of Gachiakuta, fans were introduced to a new character named Riyo Reaper, who also happens to be a member of Team Akuta.
While manga readers are well-equipped with her whereabouts, anime fans are yet to learn about her origin and abilities. Riyo has a dark past, which she is trying to overcome after joining Team Akuta as a Cleaner. Apart from her past, her abilities also make her an exciting character to look forward to.
Riyo Reaper – Another Member Of Team Akuta Introduced
Riyo was born on the Ground to unknown parents. She has long scarlet hair tied sideways with green eyes, matching her eyebrows. Riyo wears a grey short jacket with long oversized sleeves, black shorts, and black leg warmers, with 10-cm heeled boots. Currently, she is 16 years old and a member of Team Akuta under Enjin’s leadership.
However, before joining hands with Enjin, she was a hitman, and her primary weapon was a gun. Even though she left her blood-soaked life behind, she still carries the gun. Riyo has a carefree personality and loves challenges. While her behaviour can be identified as unprofessional, she is a crucial part of the story. She is quite sympathetic and protective towards Rudo Surebrec.

Riyo Reaper’s Weapon Holster Holds Her Past And Present
Thanks to her past, she has mastery over firearms and has enhanced speed and strength. While a gun used to be Riyo’s primary weapon as a hitman, it is not her Vital Instrument. After becoming a Cleaner, a pair of scissors became her Vital Instrument, known as The Ripper. When activated, the scissors become as large as her legs, and she attaches her legs to the handles and swings them to cut large objects like Trash Beasts with ease.
The best part about her Vital Instrument is that it can perform consecutive attacks while opening and closing. Apart from her Vital Instrument, Riyo Reaper also carries the gun from her past job. However, Enjin forbade her from using it to kill anyone. She is only permitted to use the gun in dire situations, non-lethally.
