Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 2 saw the conclusion of the war between Bofurin and KEEL. On April 18, 2025, Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 3 was released and marked the entry of a new character, Yamato Endo. Since his entry, the fandom has gone wild about the handsome-looking individual and what connections he has with Furin High. The introduction of Endo couldn’t be better, with Satoru Nii (mangaka) delivering a great moment to reveal the main antagonist of the series. Who Is Yamato Endo?
Yamato Endo is the main antagonist of Wind Breaker, who loves violence and strong individuals. He founded a delinquent group called Noroshi and acts as their co-leader alongside Chika Takiishi. Even though he is a teenager, Endo is a born fighter with a tall and slim build. He has short, messy hair, green eyes, and tattoos like a black flame over his shoulders. Yamato Endo usually wears a tank top, black pants, and black and white sneakers. His attire changed during the Noroshi War arc when he started wearing a grey Yukata and a black belt on top of his tank top.
What Is Yamato Endo’s Connection With Furin?
Yamato Endo is a former student of Furin High alongside Chika Takiishi, but later left the school. The reason behind his leaving Furin High was Chika Takiishi, whom he followed everywhere. Previously, Bofurin was regarded as a group of war horses that relied on violence in every matter. However, with time, their perspective changed, and they focused more on keeping peace in society. Watching the drastic change of Bofurin, Yamato wanted to challenge Furin and trash the town they protected, returning it to its former glory.

What Is Yamato Endo’s Goal?
Yamato Endo has had different goals across the Wind Breaker timeline. Initially, his goal was to follow Chika Takiishi, whom he thought to be a God because he was fascinated by his fighting ability. Later, his goal changed to the destruction of the present Furin and bringing back the old Furin. However, when he met Haruka Sakura, his motives changed as he was infatuated with the protagonist. He started to think of Sakura as God and wanted to bring him to Noroshi by any means possible.
