Momo and Ken, as a duo, bring countless laughs with their awkwardness around each other. The complexity of the yokai, aliens, humans, and on top of that, the expressions make Dan Da Dan a great modern anime in this regard.
5. One Punch Man

He joined the Hero Association with his cyborg disciple, Genos, with each day being a blend of comedy and action.
Saitama is the exact opposite of Shounen protagonists. He is bald, has unmatched strength, does not require any training, is expressionless, and barely has any friends. The creator made him in such a manner that his expressionless face and casual attitude are more than enough to make people laugh. The everyday antics or situations involving characters are equally funny. While it is a little gore, it does not degrade One Punch Man from being a genuine comedy powerhouse.
6. Great Teacher Onizuka

In simpler terms, Great Teacher Onizuka is a fabulous comedy anime, but with a heart.

Mob Psycho 100 has a deadpan delivery similar to The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. It is a comedy with the most absurd narrative, involving the weirdest things. On top of Mob’s expressionless self, Reigen’s shenanigans play a massive role in bringing the best out of the anime. It is a perfect balance of emotions and entertainment, making it one of the best coming-of-age comedies.
8. Doraemon

The mixture of sci-fi gadgets and Nobita mishaps makes the anime even funnier. Doraemon is lighthearted and won over millions of hearts with its comedy, earning worldwide recognition and legendary status.
9. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!

Similar to Saitama, KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! is also a parody anime, but instead of shounen protagonists, it is a parody of the isekai genre. The flaws of all the characters make the anime funnier. It is a nonstop show of comedy with how an isekai is mocking itself in the most ridiculous manner. The antics, dialogues, and incompetent characters create a perfect watch for the weekend.
10. Mashle: Magic and Muscles

The anime has a Harry Potter setting, but the protagonist possesses physical prowess instead of magical abilities. Mash Burnedead is another deadpan character who does nothing but eat cream puffs. The ridiculous situations that Mash and his friends face daily and how they overcome them are funny. Apart from these, there are over-the-top battles that will make the viewers laugh out loud. The overdramatic nature of the anime and comedy layers is something to yearn for.
11. Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

Not only is it a good adventure anime, but it also has great comedy timings, concepts about finding love, and enjoying life. The concept of zombies is often greeted with darkness, but Zom 100 has given it a refreshing and colorful palette, with satires punched in between scenes. The optimism amidst a life-and-death situation can bring a smile to anyone’s face.
12. Ranma ½ (2024)

However, secretly, they care for each other. The daily antics, Ranma’s curse, and the surrounding characters make both of their lives difficult.
Ranma ½ is chaotically funny, with every character bringing an element of chaos with them. Not only are the antagonists, but Ranma and Akane’s family members equally contribute to making situations absurd and hilarious. On top of everything, Ranma’s curse is something that is completely out of the book. Everything Ranma tries to achieve, a splash of cold water is more than enough to alter the scenario. Since his reality is unknown to many, he also has suitors who are in love with his female versions, making things more comical.
