1. The Fruit of Grisaia
The anime The Fruit of Grisaia is the first on our list. At first glance, it appears to be a typical fan service harem anime, but underneath, there is an exciting psychological drama. The anime is based on the Japanese visual novel created by Frontwing. In this game, we take on the role of Yuji Kazami, the only male student at a school full of five mysterious, attractive female students who all have different issues that Yuji needs to solve. Players are able to select how the story unfolds throughout the game, creating a variety of possible outcomes. 2. Castlevania
Anime viewers may be unaware of how well-known Castlevania is in the game industry. The crowning jewel of Konami’s gaming portfolio, the Castlevania series was established in 1986 and has been a staple for fans of vampire slaying. Because of the game’s immense popularity, Castlevania gave rise to the Metroidvania gaming subgenre.
The anime Castlevania on Netflix is based on Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, which centres on Vlad Dracula Tepes’ unrelenting pursuit of revenge following the death of his wife. Similar to the game, the anime has gained recognition for its ability to depict the dark fantasy elements of the title, including its epic battles and ominous settings.
3. .hack//Sign
The Anime .hack//Sign is based on a 2002 RPG game known as .hack โ pronounced “dot hack” โ created by Cyberconnect2 for PS2. With director Kลichi Mashimo’s assistance, Studio Bee Train took the game to television screens that same year after obtaining the adaption rights. By 2004, there were still several games in the series available.
The events of .hack//Sign take place in a future in which “The World,” a virtual reality video game, has become immensely popular. There is no way to exit the virtual reality when the main character, Tsukasa, wakes up in the game and has no knowledge of how he got there. Tsukasa is forced to advance in the game and encounters other players who are in similar situations. Together, they must discover the mystery of the evil game.

4. Pokรฉmon
Pokรฉmon is a global property that many people think began as an anime. However, the game itself debuted in 1996 as a role-playing game created by Game Freak based on an original idea by Satoshi Tajiri, the company’s creator. Pokรฉmon: Blue and Red was the Game Boy version of the game when it first came out. Pokรฉmon Yellow, which included the most anime characters, was released later in 1999.
Despite being an adaptation, the anime had a significant influence on the series, even though the game was only well-known in Japan. Beyond video games and anime, Pokemon has grown into a multibillion-dollar brand with a devoted fan following.
5. Clannad
