What’s Replacing the One Piece Anime Timeslot?
Although fans were distraught by the six-month hiatus of One Piece, this new revelation brought them huge relief. Multiple sources hinted at a potential remake of the Fish-Man Island Arc, which was later announced to be true. A new adaptation titled ‘One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga’ in place of the original serialization.
The upcoming Fish-Man Island Saga will remake the older episodes that aired in the years 2011 and 2012. It is revealed to have exceptional animation and music, with a shortened and crispier pacing than the original. This remake will be aired from Oct. 17, 2024 to March. 30, 2025.
A Letter For One Piece Fans Amidst Hiatus
Amidst the chaos, it was also announced that another project regarding the 25th anniversary of the show will premiere in the meantime. On their official YouTube channel, a 30-second snippet of a new adaptation titled ‘One Piece Fan Letter’ was uploaded. This installment adapts chapters from the One Piece Novel: The Straw Hat Stories.

An app titled ‘ONE PIECE BASE’ lets fans read the entire serialization of the manga from start to finish. Multiple news outlets reveal that the aforementioned will seemingly hit the app stores worldwide in the year 2025.
