Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts recently released a music video for their highly coveted track, โOtonoke.โ The experimental opening song for Yukinobu Tatsuโs Dandadan has captured fansโ hearts with its quirky verses and funky and bold instrumentals. Creepy Nutsโ latest music video is no less than weird, similar to the anime counterpart.

Who Are Creepy Nuts?
DJ Matsunaga and R-Shitei are the Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts members. Making their major label debut in 2017, they have found quite the success with tracks like Joendanyusho and Nobishiro. The pair showed a more unique side of pop/rap that the country had never seen.
Although their debut in anime was for the ending of Call of The Night, their opening track in MASHLE skyrocketed their popularity. The song titled โBling-Bang-Bang-Bornโ showed an unconventional tune that perfectly fits the peculiar Shonen masterpiece that aired in the Winter of 2024.
The Eccentric Music Video For Otonoke by Creepy Nuts
Creepy Nuts recently released a music video titled Otonoke. As expected, the hip-hop duo failed to disappoint. The visuals of the 2024 track had Matsunaga and R-Shiteiโs 3D-rendered figurines do the trick for them. Although their performance was ever-so charismatic, the phenakistoscope-themed parts of the video were an add-on for the abnormal illustrations of the video.ย
The track Otonoke by Creepy Nuts fits like a glove for the opening of Dandadan. As the first episode of Yukinobu Tatsuโs show aired on Oct. 4, 2024, fans immediately fell in love with the hip-hop theme of the introduction. Although a lot of fans were surprised by the fact, faithful listeners of Otonoke were expecting this banger of a tune.
Dandadan Episode 4 Release Date
Dandadan Episode 4 is scheduled to release on Oct. 25 on Crunchyroll. Following the ridiculous journey, that was Episode 3, fans are eager to witness Okarun and Momo Ayaseโs hunt for the Turbo Granny in the upcoming installation.
