According to MyAnimeList Tsuyoshi Yasudaโ€™s The Blue Wolves Of Mibu is scheduled to release on Oct. 19, 1:30 a.m. PST. The show will be streamed on Crunchyroll. 

What Is The Blue Wolves Of Mibu About?

Similar to Rurouni Kenshin, The Blue Wolves Of Mibu covers the historical landscape of the Shinsengumi, a group of assassins. The story revolves around a young and fiery man named Nio Chirinu, who wishes to fight for justice, despite experiencing the world around him go through a tumultuous shift from the Bakumatsu era. 

He meets Okita Souji and Hijikata Toshizo, two historically accurate assassins who were a part of the Shinsengumi. These wanderers were part of a group called โ€˜Blue Wolves Of Mibu,โ€™ which shared a similar outlook on life as Nio did. Chirinu decided to join the ranks and contribute to a cause that helped him achieve peace for himself and everyone around him.
