With Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow episode 10, the Jeju Island Raid has officially commenced. The latest episode featured a sparring session among the Japanese and Korean S-Rank Hunters in the first half. The second half saw the Hunters land on Jeju Island and tackle the evolved ants on the air as well as the ground. The biggest shock came when Sung Jinwoo refused to take part in the raid since he wished to stay close to his family. However, this does not mean that he won’t go to Jeju Island and annihilate the Ant King. The fans just have to wait a bit longer.

When Will Sung Jinwoo Reach The Jeju Island?
When the Jeju Island Raid officially commenced, it was shown that Sung Jinwoo was busy completing his daily quest given by The System. However, according to the webtoon, the protagonist will reach the island in chapter 101. In anime terms, it might happen at the end of Solo Leveling season 2, episode 11, or the beginning of episode 12.
How Will Sung Jinwoo Reach The Jeju Island?
During the sparring session, Sung Jinwoo assigned a few of his shadow soldiers to the S-Rank Hunters who were present during the event. After clearing the Demon Castle, the protagonist gains a new ability called “Shadow Exchange,” which allows him to swap places with one of his shadows. The technique does not require any man, but there is a cooldown time of an hour. When he decided it was time to help with the raid, he used “Shadow Exchange” to reach Jeju Island in an instant.
Why Will Sung Jinwoo Go To The Jeju Island After Rejecting The Offer Initially?
Sung Jinwoo was quite clear about his motives from the beginning. He refused to take part in the Jeju Island Raid so that he could spend more time with his family, especially his mother, who just recovered from a deadly disease. However, there had been three raids on Jeju Island, and the latest one marked the fourth.
While the hopes were high, the chances of success were hanging by a thread. On top of everything, the entire raid was broadcast live. While the start of the raid was commendable, once the Ant King entered the battlefield, humanity lost all hope. The Ant King killed the raid participants one-by-one, without breaking a sweat.
With nothing else to rely on, Sung Jinwoo arrived to fight the Ant King. He arrived to save his fellow S-Rank Hunters, especially Cha Hae-in, his future wife. Showcasing his immense strength, he shocked the entire world by defeating the Ant King and making the Fourth Jeju Island Raid a success.
