What Is the Story Of Fullmetal Alchemist?
Edward and Alphonse Elric are siblings who perform an alchemy experiment to bring their dead mother back to life. Not only was the experiment a failure, but it cost both of them heavily. Edward lost one of his legs while Alphonseโs body disintegrated. To keep his brother alive, Edward sacrificed one of his arms to bind Alphonseโs soul to a suit of armor. Fortunately, they were rescued by their neighbor, Pinako Rockbell, and her granddaughter, Winry.
Thanks to Winry being a prodigy of bio-mechanical engineering, Edwardโs lost limbs were replaced by prosthetic limbs made of automail. Having survived the horrific experiment, the brothers trained for years and set out on a journey to find the Philosopherโs Stone that allows an alchemist to defy the most crucial law of Alchemy โ the Law of Equivalent Exchange. However, their journey takes an unprecedented turn, and they have to survive several calamities and conspiracies to get their desires fulfilled.
