Naoya Zenin Powers, Abilities, and Cursed Technique in JJK

After a heartbreaking second season, featuring the demise of Nanami Kento, the sealing of Satoru Gojo, and the official commencement of the Culling Games, fans are eagerly waiting for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is scheduled to premiere in 2026. The stakes will be higher than usual. Every character is trapped under the Culling Games. However, a few characters will be making their anime debuts.

One such character is Naoya Zenin, the youngest son of Naobita Zenin. Naoya Zenin is one of the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerers and became the head of the Hei, Zenin Clans’ most talented and elite group of Jujutsu Sorcerers. He is a tall and handsome man with blonde hair and brown eyes. However, Naoya’s motives and personality are nothing like those of the other members of the clan.

Naoya Zenin Might Be More Narcissistic Than Ryomen Sukuna

Naoya is the youngest son of the Zenin Clan’s leader. He has always wished to be the one to lead the clan. From a young age, people have always praised him for his good looks and how majestic he was in terms of sorcery. Due to being a genius and the most promising of Naobita’s offspring, Naoya’s arrogance began to grow.

When he was deemed to be a Grade 1 Sorcerer, his arrogance grew. It grew so immensely that he belittled his clan’s members. Anyone who was weaker than him was considered to be trash. He had no respect for women and believed they were only to be wedded for looking after children. Naoya was narcissistic and sadistic and would do anything to become the clan’s leader.

At one point, he was ready to murder Megumi Fushiguro, when it looked like everyone was favoring him to be the leader of the Zenin Clan rather than Naoya. He loved tormenting Maki and Mai and making fun of their mother. Naoya’s evil personality matched his face, since he always had a grim smile on his face. The only person he held in high respect was Toji Fushiguro, even though he initially believed Toji to be a no-good fighter since he lacked Cursed Energy.

Naoya Zenin’s Cursed Technique Is One Of A Kind

Naoya Zenin has every right to be narcissistic since he was one of the strongest individuals in Jujutsu Kaisen. It is not easy to be the leader of the top forces of the Zenin Clan; Naoya did it before his uncles. One of the reasons why he was able to achieve was that he was a genius. Moreover, the abilities he possesses could make any Jujutsu Sorcerer jealous. Naoya has inherited the Cursed Technique from his father and also has high battle intellect.

Projection Sorcery

Naoya’s Cursed Technique is called Projection Sorcery. It allows him to turn one second into 24 frames, granting him the ability to trace back the movements from different viewpoints. To Naoya’s advantage, anyone he touches during the techniques’ activation will freeze for a second. Alternatively, they will become 24 Frames, as mentioned before. The technique allows him to get hold of his opponents and land easy blows. Naoya excels at close combat and can counter opponents by studying their movements.

He possesses great speed, which allows him to travel faster than subsonic levels, making it difficult to land any hits on him. While these are his conventional techniques, the Zenin Clan member also has an unconventional technique. He hides a tanto-style knife inside his clothes. When the time comes, he uses it to land sneak attacks. Since he wears a white shirt under his kimono, it makes it easier for him to hide the knife inside his clothes.
