The fandom was skeptical about the story being covered in only 8 episodes. But the latest update from the official “Demon Slayer” Twitter account has fans buzzing with excitement. The current Hashira Training Arc will feature extended episodes, adding more depth and intensity to the already thrilling saga.

The tweet announces that they will expand the seventh episode of the Hashira Training Arc to a 40-minute runtime. The eighth and final episode of this arc will be a special 60-minute broadcast. So this extension aims to deliver a more comprehensive and immersive experience for viewers, ensuring a thorough exploration of every pivotal moment in the arc.
So basically it will take you at least an hour to watch the 7th episode and two hours to watch the 8th episode. Demon fandom will certainly come in numbers to load up the Crunchyroll servers and cause buffering worldwide.
