Demon Slayer is back, and this time it’s Mr. Miyagi style. In the last season, we saw Tanjiro delivering the final blow to the upper moon Hantengu, and Muzan’s evil smile indicated that he had come to know that sun exposure has no effect on Nezuko!
Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc will pick up from there. In Season 4, we will see Tanjiro and the team being trained by the finest swordsmen there are… the HASHIRA! Tanjiro will team up with Zenitsu and Inosuke for some demon-slaying quests. And Michael Jackson (Muzan) will try to do a moonwalk in the open sun.
What To Expect From Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc
Our heroes return to the Demon Slayer Corps. The war veterans Muichiro and Mitsuri tell about their Demon Slayer marks that they got while fighting the Upper Moons. This works as a glimmer of hope for the whole corps, hinting that they too can overpower the formidable Upper Moons if they somehow get their marks.
Hence, the training to obtain Demon Slayer marks begins, and swordsmen who are not Hashira will first strive to reach that rank and keep pushing to get the mark. Our flashy Hashira, Lord Tengen, gets back for the training as well.
But we won’t be seeing two Hashira! The Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho, as she is preparing poison for the upcoming battles, and also her body isn’t strong enough to handle the rigorous training. Additionally, Giyu won’t be present as he’s undergoing private training, but this arc will delve into his backstory.
We had a glimpse of all the Hashira for the first time in season 1, and this time we will see them in action.
