Oshi no Ko live-action X (formerly Twitter) account made an announcement! the highly anticipated TV series will premiere on November 28, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video worldwide. Following closely, the live-action movie is set to be released on December 20, 2024.
This live-action adaptation brings the popular manga series by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari to the screen. And along with this announcement a trailer was also released.
What is Oshi no Ko’s story about?
The narrative revolves around Aqua Hoshino and Ruby Hoshino, offsprings of the idol Ai Hoshino. What adds a twist to the plot is that Aqua and Ruby are believed to be the reincarnations of a doctor and a devoted fan who shared connections, with Ai Hoshino in their existence. As they navigate through their lives they unravel the shadowy realm of the entertainment industry all while coming to terms, with their pasts and delving into the enigmatic aspects of their newfound identities.
