A new trailer and key visual have been released through Overlord’s official X handle (formerly Twitter), for the upcoming movie installment of their series titled “Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom“. “Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom” is a continuation of the popular anime series “Overlord,” which is based on the light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama, and is the third movie by the franchise after the end of 4th season of the popular dark-fantasy series. The anime film has been announced to hit the theatres on 20th September this year. The trailer also features the official theme song for the movie โ€œWHEELER-DEALERโ€ performed by OxT.

The story mainly focuses on the dynamics between the Holy Kingdom of Roble and the Sorcerer Kingdom. After living many peaceful years under the leadership of Queen Calca, the Holy Kingdom now faces a threat from the Demon Emperor, Jaldabaoth, and his army of demi-humans.

As the kingdom starts to fall against the overpowering demon lord’s forces, they seek assistance from their neighboring Sorcerer Kingdom & Overlord of Nazarick, Ainz Ooal Gown.

Ainz seizes this as an opportunity to showcase the power of the Sorcerer Kingdom and increase his influence throughout the holy kingdom.
