The Buster Call in One Piece is the most devastating and ultimate form of military attack, where a minimum of ten battleships, five Vice Admirals, and multiple ships and soldiers arrive on the scene with a mere press of a button. According to former Admiral Kuzan (Aokiji), a Buster Call equals the strength of an entire nation. It is initiated through a Golden Den Den Mushi, and the message is received through a Silver Den Den Mushi.

Believed to be a Marine Doctrine of Absolute Justice, the Buster Call has caused massive destruction every time it has been initiated. One Piece fandom has seen multiple Buster Calls getting initiated since the anime’s inception, with some being canon and others not. Here is a list of all the Buster Calls that have been made in One Piece.

Canon

1. Ohara Buster Call

  • Episode: 277
Buster Calls One Piece Ohara

The island of Ohara was famous for its scholars, but they were researching the Void Century, which is a punishable offence in the world of One Piece. Unknown to the residents of Ohara, they were destined for doom since it was a pre-planned incident, and Spandine’s going there for inspection was just a protocol to find an official excuse. After discovering what the Clover and his scholars were up to, Spandine initiated the Buster Call through Admiral Sengoku.

Five Admirals, including Sakazuki and Kuzan, went to Ohara along with several battleships that reached the island. The entire population of Ohara was wiped out, and the only survivor was Nico Robin. Vice Admiral Jaguar D. Saul was initially a part of the World Government but later sided with Nico Robin. Most of the documents, records, and books from the Tree of Knowledge were salvaged. It remains one of the most horrific incidents in One Piece history, as Nico Robin lost his mother, home, and friends because of the Buster Call.

2. Enies Lobby Buster Call

  • Episode: 294
Buster Calls One Piece Enies Lobby

The Enies Lobby Buster Call was initially made mistakenly by Spandam, Spandineโ€™s son. Instead of pressing the normal Den Den Mushi, he pressed the Golden one. However, it turned out to be in his favour since he and CP9 would need help to capture Nico Robin and destroy the Straw Hat Pirates. The Buster Call was initiated by Vice Admiral John Giant, who arranged the fleet. Within half an hour, an entire fleet of battleships arrived on the scene, led by five Vice Admirals, Strawberry, Yamakiji, Doberman, Onigumo, and Momonga.

There were thousands of soldiers present on the scene, but unlike Ohara, there were no civilian casualties because Enies Lobby falls under the World Government. Several soldiers were injured, including Rob Lucci, Kaku, Blueno, etc., and multiple ships were destroyed. Unfortunately, the Buster Call was not successful, as both the Straw Hat Pirates and Nico Robin escaped.

3. Egghead Buster Call

  • Episode: 1139
Buster Calls One Piece Egghead Island

The Egghead Buster Call was initiated by Saint Jaygarcia Saturn for the eradication of Dr. Vegapunk, Straw Hat Pirates, and Bartholomew Kuma, for researching the Void Century, awakening an Ancient God, and possessing the bloodline of Buccaneer. Saint Saturn and Admiral Kizaru were already on their way to Egghead with a small fleet, and after launching a siege on the island, the Buster Call was made.

Non-Canon

1. Douglas Bullet Buster Call

  • Movie: One Piece: Stampede
Buster Calls One Piece Douglas Bullet

One Piece: Stampede featured two Buster Calls, and one of them was to stop Douglas Bulletโ€™s rampage. The leading figures of the Buster Call were Admiral Sengoku and Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp. The mission turned out to be partially successful as the Marines arrested Douglas but did not kill him.

2. Delta Island Buster Call

  • Movie: One Piece: Stampede
Buster Calls One Piece Delta Island

The Delta Island Buster Call is the second Buster from the movie One Piece: Stampede. Fleet Admiral Sakazuki initiated the Buster Call, with Admiral Kizaru and Vice Admiral Momonga leading the siege along with four other Vice Admirals. Rob Lucci, Kaku, Stussy, and a few other members of CP0 were also present. The Buster Call was initiated for capturing all the pirates present on Delta Island during the Pirates Festival. While the civilian and soldier casualties remain unknown, Douglas Bullet absorbed multiple ships using his Gasha Gasha no Mi.

3. Waford Buster Call

  • Video Game: One Piece Odyssey

The Waford Buster Call was made to destroy the Divine Breath, an ancient weapon created by the Wandering Clan, responsible for gathering data from all around the world. It was initiated by the Five Elders, with Smoker being a part of the siege. The mission was considered to be partially successful since it was physically destroyed, but the Large Mukashic Cube has its consciousness stored in it.
