Who Gave Luffy Food After His Collapse in One Piece Episode 1137?

One Piece Episode 1137 commenced with Saint Jaygarcia Saturn standing atop the Straw Hat Pirates, with Jewelry Bonney in his grasp. Below him were Vinsmoke Sanji, Atlas, and Dr. Vegapunk, cursing the Gorosei for what he is about to do to her. A little far from the scene lies a battered Monkey D. Luffy, with his wrinkly, pale skin due to too much usage of Gear 5. Luffy is constantly calling out for food, especially meat, so that he can be re-energized and enter the battlefield once again.

Unfortunately, Saturn’s abilities have everyone pinned down except for the Marines. When Eiichiro Oda was asked about this particular event, his answer hinted towards Admiral Kizaru being the secret admirer who helped Luffy after he collapsed. During One Piece SBS 110, Oda sensei said, “It seems like nobody found out. In other words, their actions went unnoticed, like it was done at the “speed of light”. Hmm. I don’t know either. Speed of light…”

Why Did Admiral Kizaru Help Monkey D. Luffy?

For most of the story, Admiral Kizaru has been one of the calmest and most composed characters, always knowing his next step. However, from the beginning of the Egghead arc, he seemed a little distracted, and even Saint Jaygarcia Saturn asked him about it, considering he had a personal relationship with Dr. Vegapunk, Kuma, Sentomaru, and Jewelry Bonney.
