The Hishaku is, without a doubt, one of the strongest factions in the anime world. They have been terrorizing the world of Kagurabachi, having murdered Kunishige Rokuhira, and are in possession of multiple Enchanted Swords. All the members of the Hishaku are powerful sorcerers who are not only great fighters but also tactical geniuses. Under the leadership of Yura, they have proven themselves to be unstoppable, making war heroes like Seiichi Samura follow their instructions. Takeru Hokazono created each character with utmost perfection, and here is the list containing the names of all the known members of the Hishaku.

1. Yura
- Affiliation: Leader
- Debut: Chapter 7
Yura is the mastermind behind the Hishaku and acts as the main antagonist of the series. His debut was somewhat lacklustre, with him sitting with another Hishaku member, and Genichi Sojo reporting that the latter has been listed as the Shinuchi seller. However, it was not until chapter 48 that people came to know about his name.
He is the man behind the murder of Kunishige Rokuhira and the theft of multiple Enchanted Swords. Yura is a well-dressed man with a tall and muscular build, with the Hishaku logo on the back of his right hand. He has a calm personality with great leadership qualities and stays focused on his goals.
Yura possesses enhanced physicality, characterized by excellent speed, reflexes, and endurance. He is a master swordsman, and easily wields katana and knives, and excels at hand-to-hand combat. Even his sorcery abilities are of high-class. Yura’s speciality is Pine Tree Sorcery, which leads to the summoning of pine trees, and can easily fend off lightning attacks from Enchanted Swords. Other than that, he can teleport based on fire-sorcery, making him the perfect leader of the Hishaku.
2. Hokuto

- Debut: Chapter 89
Hokuto is one of the leading members of the Hishaku, being one of the members who killed Kunishige Rokuhira and stole a few of the Enchanted Blades. He made his debut at a smoke shop while complaining about Misaki not being at his best when Hokuto fought him.
He wears the attire of a samurai, boasting a polished look with short hair, a thin mustache, and the Hishaku logo on the back of his right hand. Hokuto is shown to be calm and confident, and he loves to engage in conversation with his enemies.
Enhanced strength, speed, reflexes, and durability are a few of the things that make him one of the fiercest characters in the series. He can create armored dolls and can control them from a distance. The armored dolls are strong and only an abled sorcery can break them. Apart from that, Hokuto wields a katana and is a master combatant.
3. Hishaku Sorcerer

The Hishaku Sorcerer is one of the core members of the Hishaku, who was one of the individuals responsible for Kunishige Rokuhira’s murder. While his name is kept a secret, he was first seen to command a group of thugs along with their leaders on how to torture. He is a unique-looking character, wearing a fedora hat and sporting long hair tied in a queue. The Hishaku Sorcerer’s right eye is pitch black, with marks around it. He is always in a suit, and unlike others, has the Hishaku logo on the outer side of his left palm.
He has been portrayed as a rational man with an enduring personality. However, he has shown signs of enjoyment during moments of violence. The Hishaku Sorcerer is always strategizing his next moves, even when he is under a lot of pressure.
He is believed to possess strong physical abilities, since he is one of the strongest within the Hishaku. Being a first-stage sorcerer, he possesses the same abilities as Yura. He can use the Pine Tree Sorcery and the fire-based teleportation. However, the Hishaku Sorcerer is never shown to be in a hand-to-hand combat, so his abilities as a combatant remain unknown.
4. Hiruhiko

- Debut: Chapter 48
Hiruhiko has a casual and playful demeanor, with a somewhat psychotic personality, and often enjoys fighting strong opponents. His debut is as casual as his personality, with him enjoying a drink on a railway station while Chihiro, Hakuri, and Uruha were on a passing train.
His love for fighting helps him improve his battle prowess, often during the fight. Hiruhiko has multiple Datenseki-wielding sorcerers and has a unique look. He has long, pink hair tied in a bun by a hairpin and has pale skin. After Yoji Uruha, Hiruhiko wielded the Kumeyuri, making him an Enchanted Blade user.
His swordsmanship is exceptionally great and can even put seasoned swordsmen on the defensive. His Blood Crane sorcery enables him to create paper and origami that is sharp enough to pierce others. However, each crane can be used for attacking only once, and after that it becomes useless. Even though he is new to Kumeyuri, he soon got accustomed to it and used multiple powerful abilities that can cause large-scale destruction.

5. Kuguri
- Affiliation: Member
- Debut: Chapter 61
Both Kuguri and Toto made their debut at the same time, standing in front of the seafood section of a restaurant and having a conversation about the former wanting to cut something. Kuguri is another member of the Hishaku who was assigned the job of kidnapping Seiichi Samura’s daughter, Iori Samura.
He is a tall man with a sharp face and short hair, with a few locks falling over his right eye. He wears black pants and a black haori underneath a white robe.
Kuguri stands apart from the other members of the Hishaku with his bloodthirsty nature, taking pleasure in killing, and favoring the sword as his primary weapon. He is an elite sorcerer and combatant, possessing exceptional strength and physical prowess. His Twilight Wave can unleash a large heat wave from his body, and the amount released increases based on how long he has stored the heat for.
6. Toto
- Affiliation: Member
- Debut: Chapter 65
Toto is a short woman with light-colored hair and dark-colored eyes. She is an underling of Kuguri, who supported him during the kidnapping of Iori Samura. While Toto also has a bloodthirsty personality, she is more rational than her peers. Unlike others, she prioritizes keeping her allies safe over the mission.
Since Toto is a core member of the Hishaku, she is believed to be a strong sorcerer and combatant. Similar to Yura, she can use fire-based teleportation to teleport herself, her allies, and even a few items.
7. Uran
- Affiliation: Member
- Debut: Chapter 2
Uran is one of the core members of the Hishaku who participated in the murder of Kunishige Rokuhira and stole the Enchanted Swords. She is a tall woman with two curls tied together and has the insignia of the Hishaku tattooed on her right hand. Ura has an aloof personality and prefers teasing her opponents and allies. She is a strong sorcerer of the Hishaku and uses Ice Manipulation. Having the ability to use the first stage of spirit energy, Uran can strengthen herself easily.
8. Bingo
- Affiliation: Member
- Debut: Chapter 87
Bingo has a unique appearance, with two sideburns and a bald head. He is a tall man wearing formal attire: a shirt, tie, trousers, and black shoes. Bingo is a lethargic individual who likes to keep his composure under every circumstance. He is always sleepy and likes to sleep even if he is on a mission.
Being a first-stage spirit energy user, Bingo uses a unique kind of sorcery. He can summon large lion-headed handers that devour humans and cause destruction with a massive force. However, they can be easily cut down, but the more they are cut down, the heavier the destroyer gets. It is as if they are being held down by someone.
9. Yukisada
- Affiliation: Member
- Debut: Chapter 87
Yukisada wears a bandage on his left cheek and uses eye shadow. He is an average male with uncombed hair, wearing a suit. Similar to all other members, Yukisada has the Hishaku logo tattooed on his right arm.
He is an extremely powerful sorcerer and possesses regeneration abilities. It is similar to the Kyonagi clan’s signature regeneration ability shown by Char Kyonagi in one of the earlier chapters. He became the vessel for the Kamunabi Headquarters by losing multiple organs through surgery. Apart from sorcery, he uses a knife as his primary weapon. Even Yura claimed him to be the strongest within the Hishaku.
There are also other core members in the Hishaku, but their names remain unknown.
