One Piece is full of wonders. Eiichiro Oda made sure to make it entertaining as well as put up real-life references. Often, he has used real-life references in his magnum opus, and fans have loved it. Apart from those references, he has also added his imagination to create new things. One of his most interesting creations in One Piece is the hybrid race characters.
He introduced several races, but some inter-race marriages led to mixed-race offspring. Till now, only a handful of hybrid races have been revealed in One Piece.
One Piece Hybrid Races
1. Buccaneers
Buccaneers are strong people with large bodies. They are larger than humans and are significantly more powerful than them. After the tribe broke the limits set by the World Government, they were imprisoned. They would have gone extinct if Kuma had not run away during the God Valley incident. However, after Kuma willingly became a Pacifista, the race finally went extinct. Even though they are mixed-blood races, it is unknown from which two races the Buccaneers were born.
2. Wotans
Wotans are half-fishman and half-giants. They are quite large but shorter than giants. Wotans have fishman-like features, which allow them to live on both land and water. This mixed-blood race is quite strong due to its genetic mutation. Big Pan is the only revealed member of Wotan’s tribe. However, it is believed that there are others like him.
3. Snakenecks x Humans Hybrid
Snakenecks are a tribe with long necks. Nothing much is known about them except that one of Charlotte Linlin’s husbands belonged to the Snakeneck Tribe. Due to their marriage, a new race was born, containing the genes of humans and Snakenecks. While they are identified as Snakenecks, they are also half-humans. The known members of this tribe are Charlotte Mondee, Charlotte Amande, Charlotte Hachee, Charlotte Effilee, Charlotte Mascarpone, Charlotte Joscarpone, and Charlotte Wiro.
4. Longlegs x Humans Hybrid
Like the Snakenecks have long necks, the Longleg tribe people have long legs. Due to their long legs, their kicks are more powerful than humans. Again, due to Charlotte Linlin, a mixed-blood race was born featuring humans and longlegs. Out of all her husbands, one of them happened to belong to the Longleg tribe. Together, they had half-long-leg and half-human children. The members of this new race are Charlotte Smoothie, Charlotte Sitron, and Charlotte Cinnamon.
5. Humans x Giants Hybrid
One Piece chapter 1139 revealed the latest mixed-blood race in Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus. The new mixed-blood race happened due to Scopper Gaban marrying Ripley. The former is a human, and the latter is a giant. Their son, Colon, is the only known member of the Humans x giant clan.

6. Longlimb Humans Hybrid
Longlimb Humans are the offspring of the Long-leg x Long-arm tribe. Charlotte Linlin has a book gifted to her by Charlotte Mont-d’Or. There are unique living beings trapped in the book. During One Piece episode 812, when Charlotte Linlin was showing the book to the Vinsmoke family, there was a person trapped inside the book that belonged to the Longlimb human clan. Apart from that, not much is known about the clan.
7. Three-Eyed Tribe x Humans
Charlotte Linlin will be making her third appearance on this list after creating another mixed-blood race. Like the previous cases, she once married a member of the Three-Eyed clan. Together, they had a daughter named Charlotte Pudding, the only known member of the hybrid race. The specialty of the Three-Eyed Tribe is that they can use their third eye to read the Poneglyphs.
8. Fishman x Human Hybrid
Out of all the husbands, Charlotte Linlin had a husband from the Fishman tribe. Together, they had a child named Charlotte De-Chat. He belongs to the hybrid race of Fishman x Humans, like Dellinger and Sapi. While his abilities are unknown, he is stronger than a normal human and can stay underwater like a Fishman.
9. Dosundadas
Even though the real identity of the Dosundadas is unknown, there is a popular fan theory surrounding them. In Japan, “Dosun” is the sound of a hammer hitting something, while “dadas” is similar to “tattas” from the Tontattas. So, Dosundadas might be a tribe of dwarves who are blacksmiths.
Artificial Hybrid Races
Lunarians x Fishman
Due to Dr. Vegapunk’s experimentation, a few new artificial hybrid races have emerged. One of them happens to be a cross between Lunarian and Fishman Seraphim Shark, popularly known as S-Shark. It is created by combining the DNA of a Jinbe and a Lunarian. S-Shark possesses all the abilities of Jinbe, like Fishman Karate, while maintaining his Lunarian traits.
Buccaneer x Lunarian
Another artificial hybrid race created by Dr. Vegapunk is between Buccaneer and Lunarian. Till now, Seraphim Bear, or S-Bear, is the only known member of the hybrid race. S-Bear is created by combining the DNA of Bartholomew Kuma with Lunarian. Like S-Shark, S-Bear also possesses Lunarian abilities and Buccaneer strength.
Lunarians x Humans
The third artificial hybrid race created by Dr. Vegapunk is based on the combination of the DNA of Lunarians with that of humans. Seraphim Snake and Seraphim Hawk are copies of Boa Hancock and Dracule Mihawk. They have maintained most of their original counterparts’ traits along with Lunarian abilities.
