Her “Technique Extinguishment” has an even greater effect on reincarnated sorcerers. It is known that characters like Sukuna exist in vessels, as their soul and powers are bound to a cursed object. Technique Extinguishment doesn’t just target the vessel; it targets the curse within it.
Apart from Technique Extinguishment, the character also has an extension to it named Maximum Output: Jacob’s Ladder. Visually, this move looks like a massive ray of light that drops down from the heavens. While it may seem like a flashy finisher, the technique is built to erase curses at a massive scale, and it’s strong enough to obliterate even special grade-level threats while ignoring the “normal rules” of barriers.

Which is why even Satoru Gojo can’t break free from this cage, making it a permanent deal for Kenjaku and the others.
This is where Angel becomes the key figure for the storyline. Her Jacob’s Ladder doesn’t force the Prison Realm open physically, but it hits the object on a conceptual level. The purifying light can reach what’s described as the Prison Realm’s Back Gate, which acts as a hidden gate in this internal space.
In simpler terms, Angel does not unlock the Prison Realm but overwrites its function by nullifying the cursed mechanism that keeps it sealed. Throughout the series, she is the only known character to possess such power, making her absolutely essential for freeing Gojo.
