The End of Aqua and Hikaru
After Aqua and Hikaru suffer a devastating fall, the duo sinks deep in the water. As the latter decides to fight back, an arm is seen pulling him under the water. The black figure with glasses is suggested to be Dr. Gorou Amamiya, one of his victims. Numerous arms grab a hold of him as they pull him down to the abyss.

In his final moments, Hikaru looks back on his history with Ai. The following panel suggests that he is remorseful about not killing Ruby to get closer to Ai.
