TRUMP! A Japanese stage play by Kenichi Suemitsu, after receiving a manga adaptation, will become an anime series titled Delico’s Nursery. This Gothic Vampire Saga begins airing on August 7.
Story of Delico’s Nursery Blood-Sucking Elites
Summary of Delico’s Nursery manga by Young Ace:
Sophie, a boy with both vampire and human blood in his veins, has left the orphanage and entered a facility called Clan. It is a school where vampire boys who have reached their cocoon stage, or puberty in human terms, gather. While being greeted coldly by the vampires around him, Sophie has a fateful encounter with a boy. The origin story of playwright Kenichi Suemitsu’s popular series has been made into a comic! A gothic school fantasy that beautifully depicts the conflicts of sensitive and impressionable boys!

Dali Delico is an aristocrat from the prestigious Delico family and an elite member of the “Blood Alliance Council” who has a promising future. Although Dali is ordered to undertake a certain mission by the Blood Alliance Council, the highest governing body for vampires, he flatly refuses. When his fellow council members, Gerhard, Dino, and Henrique, who are fed up with the situation, go to persuade him, they can see Dali nursing a young child himself.
Meanwhile…
A mysterious series of murders targeting vampires has occurred in the streets. There seems to be some kind of past connection between Dali and the anti-social organization “Pendulum”, which is believed to be the mastermind. “With all our blood and pride, let’s show that we can achieve both duty and childcare!” A tale of noblesse oblige childcare struggles by vampire aristocrats. The slapstick childcare takes place in a magnificent gothic world, with an absolute mission and pride. Will it be possible to achieve both?
