Tanjiro Kamadoโ€™s journey from being a simple boy living in the mountains to becoming the inheritor of the Sun Breathing technique has been quite spectacular. Most people bet against him since he was traveling to places to cure her sister Nezuko, who had been turned into a demon by Kibutsuji Muzan. His journey began in 2020 when the first season of Demon Slayer was released.

Standing in 2025, Demon Slayer is one of the most popular and wealthiest anime franchises ever, having crossed the 100 million mark in manga sales and a viewership that can easily put the best anime to shame. Now, the anime is ending after it was announced the Final Arc would be adapted into a movie trilogy. The release date of the first movie has just been announced.

Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part 1 Release Date Announced

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 will be released on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Japan. With still a few months left before the official release of the movie, a promotional reel has been released that showcases how far the anime has come along with the details surrounding the movie.

Apart from that, the official site of Demon Slayer also revealed a few key visuals and ticket information. Also, the Demon Slayer Theatre โ€“ Special Edition Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie has a special screening on Friday, April 4, 2025.

From then, each week will feature special editions from the first arc, โ€œTanjiro Kamadoโ€™s Unwavering Resolve Arc,โ€ to the most recent arc, โ€œHashira Training Arc,โ€ for a limited time. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train will have a revival screening on Friday, May 9, 2025. The upcoming movie will be screened in 390 regular theatres and 53 IMAX theatres for a limited time of five weeks.

When Will Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part 1 Tickets Release?

The tickets for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 have been divided into three segments with Mubichike card designs. The segments are as follows:

  • Movie Ticket Card-type Advance Ticket (Group Visual Version) โ€“ The Group Visual Version of the movie tickets will be divided into two groups based on age. The general ticket will cost 1,500 Yen, and the Junior ticket will cost 800 Yen, with both inclusive of taxes. However, the age division is yet to be revealed. The tickets will be available from Friday, March 7, 2025.
  • Movie Ticket Card-type Advance Ticket (different combinations) โ€“ The Different Combinations version will have seven combinations with only a limited number of tickets available in this category. The officials will limit each person to only two tickets, with the price of the ticket being 1,500 Yen, inclusive of taxes. Fans can choose any one of the combinations out of the 7. The tickets will be available from Friday, April 4, 2025.
  • Movie Ticket Card-type Advance Ticket (Special set with 8 types of mounts) โ€“ This will be the costliest ticket out of the three with the price of 12,000 Yen, inclusive of taxes. There will be eight types of Mubichike card-type tickets, with each person only allowed to buy two tickets per transaction. Also, there are only limited tickets available in this version, and the tickers go live on Friday, April 4, 2025.
