Fuji TV announced a new time slot for the anime series Dragon Ball Daima in a press conference held on September 2. It will broadcast the series on Fuji TV’s new programming block from October 11 on Fridays at 11:40 pm. The first episode will have a 40-minute runtime.
Fuji TV’s decision to allot a Friday time slot to Dragon Ball Daima comes as the Sunday broadcast is not nationwide compared to the Friday slot with its affiliate networks. The production of the episodes is completed – FUJI TV.
The world premiere of the Dragon Ball Daima series will happen at the Dragon Ball Daimatsuri event on October 6 at Tokyo Big Sight. The anime’s first episode will be screened 3 times at 10 am, 2:15 pm, and 6 pm.
Dragon Ball Daima Story
The anime series was announced at the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con 2023. Creator ‘Akira Toriyama’ shared a special message about the new series following the announcement.

In the series Goku and his friends find themselves turned into their smaller forms due to a ploy by an unknown entity or organization. To regain their original forms, they travel to a new world and fight the EVIL in this action-packed adventure series.

Akira Toriyama came up with the story and designed the characters. Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki, are in charge of making the show. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru is turning Toriyama’s character designs into animations. Yuko Kakihara is writing the script and the studio behind the anime is Toei Animation.
