Dragon Ball officially unveiled a new trailer, characters, and visuals on 19th July 2024 for their upcoming series “Dragon Ball DAIMA (Doragon Bลru Daima)”. The anime project also marks the 40th anniversary of the Dragon Ball’s serialization. The anime is also set to be released in October this year.
The new visual features Goku with Supreme Kai on a dragon’s back with three new worlds featured in the back. Another visual features new characters to be introduced in the series: Gomah, Masked Majin & Glorio along with original characters in their mini form, namely, Goku, Supreme Kai, Vegeta, and Piccolo. The new characters were also featured in the newly revealed trailer.

The series is an original work of author Akira Toriyama who has created the story and character designs. Dragon Ball Daima is also the final Dragon Ball anime series that Akira Toriyama contributed to before passing away on March 1, 2024.
Earlier, the series was announced last October at the Dragon Ball Special Panel at New York Comic Con. A special message from creator ‘Akira Toriyama’ was also shared giving more insights about the new series following the announcement.
Illustrations created by Akira Toriyama for the upcoming anime were also unveiled for the first time during the Dragon Ball DAIMA Special Panel at DRAGON BALL Games Battle Hour 2024 in Los Angeles this year.
The earlier revealed teaser trailer also showcased Shenron granting a wish and Goku and friends in their mini forms, hinting at their adventure to regain their original forms.
