Investigating the Elite Fighters of Kamunabi and Their Roles in Kagurabachi

Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi is no stranger to having an elite group of assassins who are responsible for bringing peace to Japan. Making its debut in Sep. 2023, Kagurabachi has a class of its own, titled Kamunabi. The Kamunabi are a group of nobilities working for the government to abolish evil forces threatening the nation's welfare. Kamunabi's establishment time is unknown. Their goal to obtain Chihiro Rokuhira and The Enchanted Blades is one of the ongoing conflicts in Kagurabachi. Let’s take a look into the Elite Fighters of Kamunabi and their roles in Kagurabachi Kamunabi Leader 1 - Kasen Making his debut in Chapter 18 of Kagurabachi, Kamunabi Leader 1 is the senior-most leader among the other 8. Unlike the other leaders, he nurtures impartial judgments on their actions to take control of the Enchanted Blades and Chihiro Rokuhira. Kamunabi Leader 2 - Ichiki The leader with a funky appearance, Leader 2 acts as a high-status officer of the group of sorcerers. Alongside Leader 1, he is also responsible for sealing Shinuchi’s box. Kamunabi Leader 3 - Yatsuru Following Sojo Genichi’s death, Leader 3 put forth her questioning on who will take the Lifelong Contract with the Cloud Gouger. However, she was unaware that they had not retrieved it, as mentioned by Leader 2. Kamunabi Leader 4 - Izaru After Chihiro brutalized Sojo Genichi, Leader 4 praised Ikuto Hagiwara instead, not knowing the former was responsible. His rough exterior is par for the course, as he criticized the others for covering up information on the Enchanted Blades. Kamunabi Leader 5 He debuts in Chapter 18 with a lanky appearance and provides his thoughts after Sojo’s death. Leader 5 reveals that he is indeed consoled by the fact that they had preserved Kaichi. Kamunabi Leader 6 Leader 6 was colored shocked after realizing that the elite sorcerer group did not retrieve Cloud Gouger following Sojo Genichi’s death. Kamunabi Leader 7 - Kudo Often donning a gas mask, Leader 7 was unfazed by Sojo Genichi’s death as he wanted to continue the Rakuzaichi auction. He is also one of the members who were responsible for hiding Kunishige Rokuhira. Kamunabi Leader 8 Leader 8 is a silent observer. With his valiant exterior, he is not often witnessed to provide his thoughts, and would rather perceive from the meetings. Soshiro Azami Unbeknownst to the Kamunabi, Azami feeds secret information to Chihiro about the Enchanted Blades, as he was an ally of his father. Known to be an intellectual on the battlefield, Ikuto is also responsible for assisting Chihiro in defeating Sojo Genichi. Kazane Machi The newest member of Anti-Cloud Gouger Special Forces, Kazane is also affiliated with Kamunabi. As he attempted to use Kaichi on Sojo Genichi, he had his arm cut off by him. Shiyumi Harima Not to be fooled by her visuals, Shiyumi Harima’s combat abilities are no less than impressive. She has the ability to control Earth as she can be witnessed expanding shields from the ground. Hajime Kugara Donning a creepy bird mask, Kugara is one of the elites in the Anti-Cloud Gouger Special Forces. Known for being an ecstatic member, Hajime can also counter the Enchanted Blades, similar to other sorcerers. Kiyohiko Uzuki Unlike his members, Uzuki is known for his tranquility. Often wearing a mask, Kiyohiko is considered one of the elites of Kamunabi, he has the ability to trap his targets using ropes and poles. Makoto Kasahara Fighting against Sojo Genichi, Kasahara is one of the elites in the Anti-Cloud Gouger Special Forces. Although he is devoid of any emotion on the battlefield, he is considered one of the best contenders. Other Kamunabi Members Hiyuki Kagari A major ally of Chihiro Rokuhira, Kagari is one of the main characters in Kagurabachi. Affiliated with the Kamunabi, Hiyuki has the ability to regenerate different parts of her skeletal system using her sorcery, making her a skilled technician on the battlefield. Tafuku Mihara Mihara has the ability to create another dimension where he and his opponent go hell-for-leather. This supposed domain is shut after their battle comes to a close. Shinuchi Bidding Team Member 1 At the Rakuzaichi auction, he was responsible for bidding on Shinuchi. He appears to know Shinuchi in detail and can be witnessed guiding his subordinate on the matter. Shinuchi Bidding Team Member 2 Unlike Team Member 1, she is an angsty bidder in the Rakuzaichi Auction. As she is not relatively familiar with Shinuchi, she receives guidance from her commander. SWORDBEARERS Seiichi Samura The blind swordsman Samura, holds a Lifelong Contract with The Fifth Enchanted Blade Tobimune. As a fighter in the Seitei War, Seiichi is also a master of Spirit Energy usage. Yoji Uruha Holding a Lifelong Contract of The Fourth Enchanted Blade Kumeyuri, Yoji Uruha was also a combatant in the Seitei War. He is also a Spirit Energy user, and is a skilled sword wielder. Enchanted Blade Wielder 1 She was one among the five surviving combatants in the Seitei War. Gifted with an Enchanted Blade by Kunishige Rokuhira, she is protected by the Kamunabi in the fortress Sanso. Enchanted Blade Wielder 2 Also one of the five warriors who survived the Seitei War, he is also a gifted Enchanted Blade Wielder. Alongside his contemporary, he is protected under the Kamunabi fortress Sanso. Elite Masumi Bodyguards Masumi Commander - Ro He is the head of the elite Masumi bodyguards appointed to protect Samura Seiichi. With the appearance of a child, the Masumi commander is a master at masking his scent in order to not interfere with the flow of Samura. Masumi Sorcerer 1 - Sumi As a Masumi Sorcerer, she is appointed to guard Seiichi Samura in his battles and is a subordinate under the Masumi Commander. Masumi Sorcerer 2 - Moku Also a Masumi Sorcerer, he is trained to hide his scent and sound in order to distance himself from Seiichi Samura's flow in battles.
