With a giant halo of ink appearing behind Ichibe, this move was targeted toward Yhwach, which failed to do its duties.
How Did Yhwach Overpower Ichibe Hyosube?
If there is a being who can overpower Ichibe Hyosubeโs Shikai, it is the Quincy King Yhwach. Fans got to witness his power โThe Almighty.โ This is said to be his true power as his final 9 years of strength regaining had come to an end.
Yhwach’s power ‘The Almighty‘ allows him to see and alter the future. He alongside Jugram Haschwalt shares this ability, with the Quincy King using it during the day. The pupils of the user split into two as they activate The Almighty.
Yhwachโs ‘The Almighty’ nullified Ichibe Hyosubeโs Futen Taisatsuryล by altering the future to what he desired. What Hyosube failed to realize is that the Quincy King had been setting his trap before his use of Shikai. Although the power of Black is powerful, he managed to evade it.
