Dandadan Episode 2 kicked off with the abilities that Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura gained in the first installment. If you thought The Serpos were bad, here comes the giant Sumo Wrestler alien in the latest addition. It also provided fans with additional information about the power capabilities of the two.

Ken Takakuraโs Powers Advance in the Latest Alien Showdown in Dandadan Episode 2
This episode starts with the friendly interaction between Ayase and Ken Takakura. As they look for the formerโs spirit medium grandma in her home, trouble in paradise awakens. Momo notices the strange doorbell sound, only for a black mass of a figure to be waiting outside for her.
As she and Ken sneak through another door to install a talisman that prevents otherworldly beings from entering, their vicinity is blocked with a concrete wall that blocks them. Enter – a large extraterrestrial sumo wrestler who demands Takakuraโs โbanana.โ
After they are cornered by the alien, Ken Takakuraโs personality alongside his exterior changes into an amalgamation of himself and the Turbo Granny. Although he managed to slash The Flatwood Monsterโs fingers, his body could not handle the stress of the transformation.

Momoโs โGeniusโ Plan Against The Flatwood Monster
As the alien manages to overpower them, Momo Ayase realizes something. As Ken Takakuraโs de-transformed body lies on the ground, she reveals that she wants the Flatwood Monsterโs hands to hit the floor. In Sumo Wrestling, any other body part of the combatant other than the soles of his feet touching the ground ends up losing.
Her initial plan of placing the talisman in front of the gate worked as the Monster was eventually set in flames. The wall that they were trapped in, immediately opened up, setting the duo free.

Dandadan Episode 3 Release Date
Dandadan Episode 3 is scheduled to release on Oct. 17, 7:30 a.m. The upcoming installation is said to introduce new characters, possibly Momo Ayaseโs grandma. It might also cover the crazier extraterrestrial beings who are on the hunt for Ken Takakura.
