Hunter x Hunter, the manga series created by Yoshihiro Togashi, is set to return with its 38th volume on September 4, 2024.
The series has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen manga magazine Weekly Shลnen Jump since March 1998. The manga has also frequently gone on several hiatuses since 2006 due to Yoshihiro Togashi’s health problems. Its chapters have been collected in 37 tankลbon volumes as of November 2022.
Hunter x Hunter Volume 38
Hunter x Hunter volume 38 will have a total of 208 pages and it will cover chapters 390 to 400. Earlier, Togashi posted an image featuring a ruler and part of a page marked with the number 405 on Twitter. But wait thereโs more. He added the caption โIโm doing No.405. Moon healing escalation!โ We might be able to see new chapters serialized in 2024.
What is Hunter x Hunter about?
The story focuses on Gon, a boy who believes his parents are dead, but only finds out later that his father ‘Ging‘ is alive and is a renowned ‘Hunter’. Hunters are licensed professionals who track down secret treasures, rare beasts, and even other individuals.
Gon sets out to take the Hunter Examination to become a hunter and meet his father. During the Hunter Examination, Gon befriends other aspiring Hunters, including Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio Paladiknight. Throughout their journey, they face many powerful enemies and challenges.
