Jujutsu Kaisen has announced the fourth installment of its very own fest, “Juju Fest 2024”! Beginning in 2021, the fest has gained more popularity with each passing year. The news of this event was posted on May 13 on the official X (formerly Twitter) account of Anime Jujutsu Kaisen.
Continuing the Tradition of Excitement
This fest will continue the tradition of previous fests and will showcase live orchestra performances, voice acting (afureko), special talks about anime, and much more.
Focus on Key Story Arcs
The event will mainly focus on the incidents of the Kaitama/Tamaori and Shibuya Jihen arcs. It will be held on August 25, 2024, at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. Aoi Shouta, a voice actor and singer, will be performing live music. His performances will include singing the outro theme for the “Kaitama/Tamaori” arcs of “Jujutsu Kaisen.” Additionally, Junsei Terui will lead a special band for live music performances.
Star-Studded Cast Line-Up
From the anime, Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki), Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo), Kenjiro Tsuda (Kento Nanami), Subaru Kimura (Aoi Todo), Aya Endo (Shoko Ieiri), Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito), and Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto) will participate. This marks the largest cast ever to engage in live voice acting (afureko) and live stage talks for the fans.

Glossary
For anyone who’s ever geeked out over anime’s seamless lip-syncing, here’s the one Japanese term you need: Afureko – Directly translating to “after recording,” this is the industry lingo for the meticulous process of voice actors recording lines to match pre-existing animated mouth flaps.
