Jump Festa 2025, one of the biggest manga and anime fan conventions, concluded on 22nd December. It was a 2-day event at Makuhari Messe convention center in Tokyo, Japan, where major anime and manga updates, films, games, and merchandise were announced. Jump Festa 2025 Super Stage RED Lineup & Announcements
The Red stage of Jump Festa 2025 showcased panels from popular series, including Jujutsu Kaisen, Rurouni Kenshin, The New Prince of Tennis, SPY X FAMILY, Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, Chainsaw Man, Blue Exorcist, Kaiju No. 8, and One Piece.
Jujutsu Kaisen
A teaser visual for Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game was unveiled. The previously announced Jujutsu Kaisen Premature Death Arc compilation movie, premiering in Japan on May 30, 2025, also got a new visual, and the manga will receive a new 16-page epilogue.
Due to poor health, Yuma Uchida (CV. Megumi) could not appear on the JJK panel.

Rurouni Kenshin
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Disturbance released a new visual featuring the Shishio faction and a new trailer for the upcoming second season, Part 2, premiering on January 9, 2025. Additionally, the latest trailer featured the second opening theme song, “BURN” by Yama & Wurts. Due to poor health, Saito Soma (CV. Himura Kenshin) didn’t attend the event.
The manga was put on indefinite hiatus last year, but it was announced in Jump Festa 2025 that it would continue to be serialized during the spring season.

The New Prince of Tennis
The New Prince of Tennis, aka Prince of Tennis II, announced the “Tenipuri Cheer” event after almost two years. It will be held on September 20-21, 2025.

SPY X FAMILY
The previously announced Spy x Family Season 3 gets a new update. A teaser visual featuring Anya and Bond revealed that season 3 will be released in October 2025 as part of the Fall 2025 lineup.

Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball Super manga return was announced in this year’s Jump Festa. A new one-shot special will be released in Shueisha’s V Jump magazine on February 20, 2025, by manga artist Toyotaro. It will feature Goten, Trunks, and a new superhero.

My Hero Academia
A new visual featuring Deku was released for the final season of My Hero Academia, which will air in Fall 2025. A teaser visual and trailer was also released to announce the manga spin-off series My Hero Academia: Vigilantes‘ anime adaptation, which is set to air in April 2025.

Chainsaw Man
MAPPA studio’s previously announced Chainsaw ManโThe Movie Reze Arc got new teaser visuals and an action-packed trailer. The film is set to be released in theatres sometime in 2025. The movie’s anime staff and cast were announced, and a message from the mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto was also shared, asking fans to continue supporting the team.

Blue Exorcist
A new teaser visual and trailer for the Blue Exorcist: The Blue Night Saga were revealed. The series will start broadcasting on January 5, 2025. The trailer features the new opening theme song, “Itakaku,” by Amazarashi, and the ending theme song, “Overlap,” by Shiyui.

Kaiju No. 8
A teaser visual of the second season of Kaiju No. 8, featuring first-division captain Gen Narumi, has been released. The second season will start airing in July 2025. Moreover, a simultaneous screening of the Kaiju No. 8 season 1 compilation movie and Hoshina’s Day Off will be screened on March 28, 2025.
A new trailer for Hoshina’s Day Off was also released, and One Republic will perform the movie’s ending theme song.

One Piece
One Piece Egghead Arc will resume its broadcast on April 6, 2025. The anime series will air every Sunday at 11:15 pm Japanese Standard Time. A new teaser visual and trailer of the Egghead arc was revealed.

Moreover, Kazuki Yao (CV. Franky) announced his retirement from the One Piece series. He played the character of Franky for almost 20 years. Voice-over artist Subaru Kimura will carry the torch to voice Franky’s character. Subaru Kimara is known for his voice of characters like Aoi Todo(Jujutsu Kaisen), Tendo(Haikyuu!!), Sakuragi(The First Slam Dunk) and many more.
