LAZARUS Advance Screening Set for March With Special Cast Talk Show

LAZARUS will bring one of the most interesting storylines that will take place in the 2050s. The hype was already there after it was announced that John Wick‘s director, Chad Stahelski, and Cowboy Bebop‘s director, Shinichiro Watanabe, were coming together for this venture. However, the latest announcement is sure to increase the hype once again.

With LAZARUS scheduled to have 13 episodes, it has been announced that there will be a special screening of the anime’s first episode. After its end, there will be a special talk show with the main cast of the anime. Even though the anime is scheduled to premiere sometime in April 2025, the special screening will take place a month before its official release.

LAZARUS Special Screening Lottery System

LAZARUS is scheduled to release in April 2025, but the special screening will happen on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Shinjuku Wald 9. Fans can get access to the event by buying tickets. However, if the ticket sales exceed the seat numbers, they would be assigned through a lottery. The lottery system will not be first come, first serve, instead a random one. The lottery application period is currently ongoing, starting on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 18:00. It will close on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 23:59. The results of the winners will be announced on Monday, March 3, 2025, around 18:00.

Main Cast Talk Show

Apart from featuring the first episode, the lottery winners will also have a chance to attend a special talk show and stage greetings with the cast. The voice actors of Axel (Mamoru Miyano), Doug (Makoto Furukawa), and Christine (Maaya Uchida) will be present during the event.

What is the story of LAZARUS?

LAZARUS is the name of a vaccine that the protagonists will be looking for. In 2052, Dr. Skinner discovered a new drug and soon became the talk of the town. Everyone wanted it because of its special effects. However, three years later, Dr. Skinner revealed that the drug has a major side effect that causes its consumers to have a reduced lifespan and die soon. As a result, a task force was formed consisting of five members. They were assigned the job of finding Dr. Skinner and forcing him to make an antidote for the drug.
