One Piece manga has finally shifted its focus towards the most anticipated incident – The God Valley Incident. Many new things are coming up every week. With One Piece Chapter 1160 spoilers leaked online, it is seen that Eiichiro Oda has once again dropped a major revelation.
While the last few chapters focused on revelations around Rocks D. Xebec, the latest spoiler revealed the supposed reason behind Monkey D. Dragon, branded as the “World’s Worst Criminal,” and the creation of the Revolutionary Army. Surprisingly, it was the God Valley incident that changed his heart and made him go up against the Marines.
Monkey D. Dragon’s Crime Against the Celestial Dragons at God Valley
During the God Valley incident, Monkey D. Dragon shot a Celestial Dragon to save a young Bartholomew Kuma. Unfortunately, shooting a Celestial Dragon is the worst crime in the eyes of the World Government, and that too for saving a Buccaneer, who is considered a criminal. Dragon was a rookie Navy soldier at that time, and it was already over for him. Even though it was his instinct to save a child, it turned out to be two of the worst crimes anyone can commit in One Piece.
When Monkey D. Luffy punched a Celestial Dragon during the Sabaody Archipelago arc, a battalion of Marines arrived at the scene with Admiral Kizaru in hot pursuit of them. It showed that the Celestial Dragons are considered to be the supreme beings of the world, and even speaking in front of them is a grave crime. However, Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, did something far greater for him to be branded as the Worst Criminal.
Kidnapping The Children Of A God’s Knight In One Piece
Apart from shooting a Celestial Dragon, Monkey D. Dragon also committed another crime in the eyes of the World Government. After Figarling Garling left his wife fatally wounded and tried to take away Shanks and Shamrock, the wounded lady later asked Dragon to save his children. One Piece Chapter 1160 spoilers revealed that Dragon successfully managed to save the twins. Unfortunately, what was a rescue mission for him was a case of kidnapping for Figarland Garling.
Garling is a God’s Knight, and taking away his twins without his permission is considered kidnapping. Even though Dragon was a Marine, he could no longer bring himself to be a part of the World Government, which committed crimes openly in the name of justice. Thus, after committing multiple crimes during the God Valley incident and later creating the Revolutionary Army, Monkey D. Dragon came to be known as the “World’s Worst Criminal.”
