Master Ales, a well-known blacksmith, agreed to help after Mukohda presented him with ten bottles of Suntory Whisky along with the payment for forging the grill.

Pilaf can be prepared separately, but for a quick fix, Mukohda ordered frozen Pilaf. First, rub herb salt all over the cockatrice meat, then stuff it with pilaf and secure the opening with bamboo skewers so nothing spills out. Tie the legs together with a thread and coat the entire surface with olive oil. Place it in a preheated oven, brushing on more oil from time to time as it cooks. Once it’s nicely roasted, the dish is ready to enjoy.

Whisky highballs have been popular in Japan since the 1950s. This classic drink is one of the oldest scotch cocktails and is made with only three ingredients: scotch whisky, soda, and ice. The soda has a light taste, so it lets the whisky’s flavour stand out, while the tiny bubbles make the drink feel smooth and refreshing. It’s served in a tall, narrow glass filled with ice, and is loved around the world for its simple and refreshing taste. Let’s see how Mukohda prepared it.

The first step is choosing the right glass. A Highball is always served in a tall, narrow glass. In Mukohda’s case, he had Sui make special long glasses out of Mithril. Start by adding ice to the glass to cool it, then throw that ice away. Add fresh ice and pour in whisky until the glass is one-fourth full. Give it a gentle stir. Then pour in soda water, stir quickly, add a squeeze of lemon, and your Whisky Highball is ready.
