Elbaf is primed to be one of the final locations where the majority final part of the One Piece narrative unfolds. A special place, the home to the giants and probably the last island left to explore before the Strawhats head to Laughtale, Elbaf is going to be the setting for this major arc. One Piece 1132 scans finally expand on the 3 realms of Elbaf. Let’s dive in together and unravel what it’s all about!
Elbaf Island – Home of the Giants
Elbaf Island is the land of Giants. Politically speaking, it comprises the kingdom of Warland which is not a part of the World Government. Elbaf was first hinted at in Chapter 116, which was a part of the Little Garden arc! It is the birthplace of Dorry and Brogy. It is also the island where Big Mom grew up during her formative years. Recently, Elbaf had a visitor, Shanks, one of the four emperors, as revealed by Loki. One Piece 1132 scans show that Luffy jumps up from the Underworld of Elbaf and bumps into Gerd and Goldberg.
The 3 Realms of Elbaf
One Piece 1132 scans explore the 3 realms of Elbaf. Already shown in previous chapters, the landscape of Elbaf is characterized by the tree of Adam at the center. There are 3 levels of Elbaf namely:
- Underworld: Considered the prison realm for criminals of Elbaf, it is characterized by mountains, dangerous jungles, and wildlife. It is also the place where Loki is imprisoned.
- Sun World: The Sun World is the realm in-between. Branches of the Adam tree as well as cloud islands. Sun world is vast and is presumably the realm where most of the Giant population resides. It consists of villages scattered all over.
- Heaven Realm: Heaven Realm is the uppermost level of Elbaf. It has not been revealed what or how Heaven Realm looks. What do you think the weather is like on Heaven Realm? Comment down below!
The Rainbow Road/Bridge of Elbaf
One Piece 1132 scans reveal the Rainbow Bridge of Elbaf. You heard that right. Even Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp had the same reaction! The Rainbow Road is as the name suggests a traversable rainbow. It connects the sea to the Sun World. It is how the Giant Warrior Pirates’ ship, Great Eirik ascended from seawater to the second level of Elbaf- a ship sailing on a rainbow! The rainbow road may contain Pyrobloin which can explain why it can withstand weight. This ingredient contains the Sea Prism Stone mineral which makes its condensation nuclei different from that of normal clouds. Absorption of moisture therefore turns it into an island cloud which is the building block for the Rainbow Road!

Who Is Louis Arnote? The Untold Story Behind One Piece’s Brag Men
One Piece 1132 scans reveal mangaka Eiichiro Oda’s world-building ingenuity. Remember when Nami in OP chapter 115 took out a massive produced copy of the Brag Men to identify the island as Little Garden? Well, the book is a series of journal entries by explorers from the past expanding on their adventures in the Grandline. Louis Arnote contributed not only to Little Garden and, Dorry and Brogy but also to Elbaf. He mentioned that everything from trees, plants, flowers, insects, and animals is gigantic. He also mentioned that an explorer would have a fruitful time at Elbaf. However, his entry ends with a warning where he states that no one should stay at Elbaf for too long.
