There are three Ancient Weapons in One Piece, with each bearing the name of a God. All three of them were a major part of the Void Century, and most likely Joy Boy. Multiple Poneglyphs have their names mentioned with the World Government trying to keep them a secret, while also hunting for them.
These three weapons, known as Poseidon, Pluton, and Uranus, are believed to have powers that can change the shape of the world. Their destructive power makes them a force to reckon with. Since the Ancient Weapons are one of the biggest mysteries in One Piece, here is a list based on them.
1. Poseidon
Poseidon is one of the three Ancient Weapons in One Piece. During the Void Century, there was a mermaid named Poseidon who had the ability to speak with and command the Sea Kings. She made a pact with Joy Boy to bring Noah to the surface and activate it to fulfill a mission. However, Joy Boy failed to keep his promise, and Noah never came to the surface. Being one of the Ancient Weapons, Poseidon is heavily featured for its ability to bring destruction upon the world. Over time, she faded into legend, with her name preserved only on the Poneglyphs found in Skypiea and the Ryugu Kingdom.
Poseidon’s abilities were not limited to her, as her powers would only be inherited by mermaids of the Royal Bloodline of the Ryugu Kingdom, who are her descendants. Currently, Princess Shirahoshi has manifested the powers of Poseidon. While she does not have much control over her abilities, her screams were able to summon multiple Sea Kings around her, shocking everyone.
2. Pluton
Pluton is another Ancient Weapon in One Piece, which is currently residing beneath Mt. Fuji in Wano. It was during the Alabasta arc when Pluton’s name was first revealed. The Poneglyph in Alabasta revealed that Pluton was lying in Wano. When Nico Robin asked the former Shogun of Wano, Kozuki Sukiyaki, about Pluton, he took her and Tragfalgar Law to the base of Mt. Fuji. It was then that he revealed that to take out Pluton, the walls of Wano need to be removed, revealing how massive the warship is.
Unlike Poseidon, Pluton is not a living being, but a giant warship with the ability to cause mass destruction. It can destroy cities in a single shot. Pluton was created during the Void Century, in Water 7. Franky had the blueprints of Pluton, but he burned them down so that the World Government would not get their hands on them.
3. Uranus
Uranus is the third and last Ancient Weapon in One Piece, which was active during the Void Century. Being an Ancient Weapon, its destructive abilities could wipe out nations if it fell into the wrong hands. Unfortunately, Uranus has not been explored in One Piece. So, its location, abilities, and appearance remain a mystery.
However, there is a popular theory that Uranus is the one used to destroy Lulusia Kingdom after getting powered up by the Mother Flame. It could also be a flying city, similar to Emerald City, with multiple weaponry, especially since “Uranus” is the primordial personification of sky. Even Imu-sama’s weapon fired the blast from the sky, signalling that the World Government has already got its hands on Uranus.
