One Piece returned after a six months hiatus, and in episode 1124, revealed that Elbaph will be the Straw Hats’ next destination after Egghead. The latest episode featured the Straw Hats capturing York and threatening the Five Elders to let them escape, otherwise they would use York as a shield.
While the negotiations and escape planning were going on, the World Government also set up a plan to capture the pirates. Apart from an entire fleet, they sent two of their best fighters, Kizaru and Saint Jaygarcia Saturn. With tension rising high on both ends, One Piece delivered another spectacular episode with a hint of foreshadowing.
Elbaph: Straw Hats’ Next Destination
After capturing York, the Straw Hats, along with Vegapunk, were planning to escape Egghead. Using the help of Nami’s Log Pose, it was decided that they would head North West. Out of the three Log Poses, only the one from Wano was working while others were still adjusting, and seeing it pointing towards North West, Vegapunk said that Elbaph was in that direction.
While it is unclear how the Straw Hats would get out of the current situation, their next destination has been decided to be Elbaph. Luffy and the rest of his crewmates have always longed to visit Elbaph since it is inhabited by the Giants. Earlier in the series, they met several giants, with Dorry and Broggy being the first ones. They befriended the Giants, who helped them get past the Sea Monsters with their combined attack.
The next time they encountered a Giant was during the Dressrosa arc, when Luffy, under the disguise of Lucy, faced Hajrudin. Hajrudin later joined the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, making him one of Luffy’s most trusted allies. Nico Robin also met a giant named Saul during her childhood. So, overall, the name of Giants has got the Straw Hats excited since they will not only be visiting their friends but also get closer to Laugh Tale and unearth the secrets of Elbaph.

Admiral Kizaru Stands As A Barrier To The Straw Hats’ Elbaph Exploration
With Luffy, Franky, Bonney, and Stella trying to get to the Thousand Sunny to escape, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn orders Kizaru to charge on the Egghead Island. Kizaru is the only one who can get in without detection since his Devil Fruit, Pika Pika no Mi, allows him to become light.
However, the Admiral did not want to directly charge the Yonko crew and wanted to take out Sentomaru first. Since the latter could command the Pacifistas and Seraphim to sink the entire fleet in mere seconds. Using his Sacred Yata Mirror, Kizaru quickly entered the light and went straight for Sentomaru. When the two Marines clashed, it sent a shockwave through the entire island. While the others were shocked by such a bright light and a massive shockwave, Luffy could feel that someone powerful had entered the island.
The Straw Hats have faced Kizaru in the past, and it did not end well for them. They were on the verge of getting annihilated and were saved only due to Rayleigh and Bartholomew Kuma’s interference. The difference in strength was huge, and it left everyone traumatized. Watching the bright yellow light, Luffy may have understood that it was his former nemesis. However, times have changed, and the Straw Hat Pirates have become a Yonko crew.
As things progress, the second encounter between Luffy and Kizaru is not far away, and this time, the fight will be interesting rather than a one-sided massacre. Luffy will look to go head-on with Kizaru and take revenge for the last time. However, there is still time for prediction since Kizaru will have to deal with Sentomaru first, who also happens to be his nephew.
