Exciting news for One Piece fans! Netflix has officially announced that production for the second live-action season of Eiichiro Oda‘s beloved manga series, One Piece, has begun. The streaming giant released a thrilling video on their official YouTube channel on Monday! Revealing the return to Cape Town, South Africa, to film the much-anticipated season.

Creative Team and Production Details
Season 2 will see Joe Tracz (known for Percy Jackson and the Olympians) joining as a writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner. He will work alongside Matt Owens, who returns as the writer, executive producer, and co-showrunner from the first season. Steve Maeda, who co-showran the first season, will now serve as an executive producer.
Production by Tomorrow Studios, a collaboration between producer Marty Adelstein (Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and ITV Studios, with Becky Clements serving as an executive producer.
