Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 16 is the finale of the ongoing season and will feature Beatrice in action. Episode 16 will continue the fight between Lye Batenkaitos, Otto Suwen, and others. Otto and his group are tasked with keeping one of the Sin Archbishops of Gluttony at bay while Felt brings a secret weapon.
Previously, the Sin Archbishop of Greed, Eight-Armed Kurgan, and Theresia van Astrea have been defeated, but there are other Sin Archbishops who are still posing a threat to the City of Priestella. It is unlikely that all of them will be featured in the season finale. However, Re:Zero Season 3 Episode 16 is set to end on a high note, dragging the current arc to the next season.

Like the last episode, Episode 16 will feature Otto Suwen and his group taking on Lye Batenkaitos, but this time, Beatrice will be there to help them. Beatrice and Otto vow to defeat the Sin Archbishop and not let him get close to Subaru. Hearing this, Lye mocks the duo by repeating Rem’s words, which he had access to after he stole her memories. Even though Beatrice joined the battle, she only has five spells left to use, and firing repeatedly on Lye has no effect on him.
In the end, Lye’s authority takes the “White Dragon Scale” personnel. Lye takes on every member of the group and defeats them with single strikes. The trailer released ahead of the season finale showcased Felt’s return, who hit the Sin Archbishop with the weapon she brought. However, after recovering from the blow, she approached Felt and held her face in his hands, looking to eat her memories, too.

The Battle of Priestella is a major event in Re: Zero and the protagonists have the momentum on their side with multiple foes already defeated. Beatrice joining the protagonists is definitely a boost for them, but Lye Batenkaitos is ready to shift the momentum in the Witch Cult’s favor. With great animation and story, the finale is set to be one of the most crucial episodes of the season.
