Several anime will be released in January 2025. Without a doubt, the start of 2025 has been nothing short of a festival for the anime community. The joy is sure to increase after they hear that Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance is returning in the second week of January. The information spread like wildfire among the fans, and everyone is eagerly waiting for its release.
To keep the fans hyped, Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance released its trailer. Although it has only been a day since the release, the trailer has already racked up more than 100K views on social media. This shows that Nobuhiro Watsuki’s masterpiece is still popular after more than two decades of its release.
Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance Trailer Revealed Important Information
The trailer for Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance was released on January 8, 2025. It served as the promo for the anime’s season 2 part 2, which is scheduled to release on January 9, 2025. The trailer provided us with a glimpse into the coming episodes. The trailer consisted of several action sequences, Himura training with Hiko Seijuro, and glimpses of his past.
Even though the trailer was just 41 seconds long, it featured many characters who will be a major part of the upcoming season. Everything seemed detailed, but there was always room for improvement, be it the animation or background. It revealed only that much, which will keep the fans occupied until the release of the anime. Overall, it was insightful and laid the foundation for Himura’s upcoming journey. There will also be new opening and closing themes. The Opening Theme, “BURN,” is sung by yamaXWurtS!, and the Ending Theme, “Just One,” is sung by Zarame.
What Does The New Season Have In Store For The Fans?
In the last episode of Rurouni Kenshin – Kyoto Disturbance season 2 part 1, fans got to see Sojiro take Shinomori Aoshi to Shishio’s hideout. The antagonists wanted Kenshin’s location, but Aoshi did not know his location. He did ask Kashiwazaki Nenji (Okina) for the information, but he did not reveal it to him.
The first episode of season 2, part 2, is named “Aoshi vs. Okina,” and it pretty much sums up the episode. To learn Kenshin’s location and pass it on to Shishio, Aoshi will have to fight Okina and get the information from him forcefully. However, barely anything about it was shown in the trailer. The only other people who got more screen time than Kenshin are Hiko and Kamiya Kaoru, Kenshin’s girlfriend. Nonetheless, the upcoming 12 episodes will be exciting.
