The anime screenings will take place at Grand 4, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, and begin at 6:00 PM PDT, featuring a diverse selection of shows. Here’s the complete schedule:
• 6:00 PM – Food Wars: serves up a feast for the eyes as culinary prodigies duke it out with whisks and knives. Gordon Ramsay, eat your heart out.
• 6:25 PM – S-CRY-Ed: brings superpowers to the table. X-Men, but make it anime.
• 6:50 PM – Cowboy Bebop: Space cowboys alert! blasts off with bounty hunters who have more baggage than your ex on vacation.
• 7:15 PM – Z/X Code Reunion: asks the age-old question: what if Earth had a multiverse problem?
• 7:40 PM – Sorcerer Hunters: magic meets vigilante justice. Harry Potter, but with fewer wands and more butt-kicking.
• 8:05 PM – Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? (Yes, that’s the actual title) combines dating and dungeon crawling. Tinder! make it fantasy.
• 8:30 PM – Saiyuki Reload: takes the classic “Journey to the West” and cranks it up to 11.
• 8:55 PM – Ushio & Tora: Boy meets demon tiger. It’s like “How to Train Your Dragon,” with more fur and fewer wings.
• 9:20 PM – Kimagure Orange Road OVA: proves that even psychics struggle with love triangles. Who knew?
• 9:45 PM – Excel Saga: Cap off the night with where world domination meets slapstick comedy. Because why not?
