The Sanda anime focuses on Sanda Kazushige, who is the descendant of Santa Claus. After Shiori Fuyumura broke the curse, Sanda can transform into Santa Claus by wearing something red, and revert to his 14-year-old self by consuming jelly candies. Since Santa Claus is a long-forgotten character in the anime, he is being hunted by an evil faction. However, being a visiting deity in the anime, Santa Claus is pretty strong. He has certain qualities that make him a superhuman when compared to others.
From Fireproof to Bulletproof: Inside Santa’s Superhuman Body
Santa has a chiseled body that will put bodybuilders to shame. His muscular stature is not just for show, as he is a freak of nature when it comes to his physicality. He can throw large objects quite easily and punch through walls like it’s nothing. He is fast and has great reflexes. Santa has great endurance and can sustain strong punches with ease. On top of his enhanced physicality, he is immune to fire and electricity.
Knives, guns, and bombs have no effect on him, showcasing his steel-like skin and body. Whenever Santa fights, his surrounding temperature drops, making others feel cold. There is a long and sharp metal sled coming out from his foot, which can cut through any hard object like butter. However, it needs to be sharpened from time to time. Santa’s powers significantly increase when children start believing in him, and he can partially freeze others.

Types Of Santa Claus In Sanda
In Sanda, there are three types of Santa Claus. Each time Sanda Kazushige goes through a certain emotion or does something, he transforms into a different version of Santa. While the abilities mostly remain the same, the physical prowess and mentality change.
1. Red Santa Claus
Red Santa Claus or normal Santa is the basic transformation of Sanda Kazushige, when he wears something red. In this transformation, Santa is either wearing red trousers and a jacket or white underwear. For most of the story, Sanda has transformed into the normal Santa Claus, who gets powered by children’s beliefs.
2. Black Santa Claus
Like Red Santa Claus, Black Santa Claus is also a transformation by Sanda Kazushige. In this transformation, his attire changes to black. Black Santa is more confident than Red Santa and does not regret punishing bad children. As Black Santa, Sanda’s abilities improve, and he does not get emotional easily.
3. Underworld Santa Claus
Underworld Santa Claus is the third and rarest transformation of Sanda Kazushige. He transformed into Underworld Santa only once, when he was overcome with rage. Underworld Santa is a towering figure with more muscles than the other two.
There are tattoos all over his body, along with the names of all the previous Santa descendants. In this form, he is more like a beast and excels in every aspect. Even his allies become afraid of him. Underworld Santa Claus gives zero regard to his enemies and does not care whether they live or die.
